“Say it, Lyrielle—say you’re with me, or I’ll toss you back off that cliff myself!” I glared up at him, my hands trembling but clenched into fists, nails digging into my palms until I felt the sting of blood. My voice shook with fury as I grew tired of him playing mind games with me. “You pushed me off that cliff!” I spat, the words dripping with loathing. I could still remember how it felt as I fell down the cliff—it was terrifying, and then my body was set on fire. He smirked and leaned closer again. “And yet here you are, breathing, whining—pathetic, clinging to life like a rat scrabbling in filth. You could have given up on life when I pushed you down the cliff.”

My body bounced off the cliff, colliding with rocks, as we fell fast and furious. Crack. My skull hit another rock. He rose. I pushed back, but it was futile. He was stronger than me right now. Chelsea closed her eyes and pushed both of them off the cliff , their footing lost the ground and Chelsea found them falling , winds whistling past their ears like roaring currents . On the cliff for a second their was a stiff silence followed by the man's horrible indignant screaming . clubs and arrows flew behind them . Now , Chelsea would have loved to say that just like some bollywood movie , a hero came rushing saving the damsel in distress or maybe she ended up unlocking a new feature of her strength in the face of danger . Nothing , like that happened .

He crashed into it, knocking both of them off the cliff. I gasped in shock. I rushed to the edge of the cliff and when I stared down, my heart tumbled to my stomach. All I saw was the rough, rocky plains below, hundreds of huge boulders that could have killed Malric from the massive fall.
