“Fur heavy in weight, the smell of dampness, trailing mud into the Maria’s home.” Freya’s lips twitched and she could not believe she was ever stupid enough to worry about anything that came out of her mouth. The sky was fucking clear, with no signs of clouds in the distance. Freya laughed, feeling light and airy, her burdens burned away. Obviously Fiona was too young to have any reliable predictions; too young and having gone through too much trauma. Of course she claimed to see things. But then two hours later, the same clear sky from earlier darkened ominously and then the skies opened above them, so torrentially that they had to wait a few minutes for the worst to pass.

He said in polite manner but mixed in frightened tone. "He want me to comeback?" He laughed sarcastically. "Tell them!" Jae Gray said in serious tone that made anyone in front of him trembled in fear. "I'll come and settle the matters on the right time!" He said coldly. "If ever he sends you again after me I will kill anyone of you" he added, and murderous aura was emitting to his while body. Then he stoods up, and walked away without turning his back. As soon as Jae Gray left, the uneasiness felt by the leader of the men's in black suit faded away, the pressure he felt in front of him earlier was too frightening.

"I guess I didn't want to bother you. It just seemed like something I had to deal with on my own." Sky shakes his head, looking at me with warmth. "You never have to go through anything alone, Zoe. I'm here for you, always. Whether it's cramps, bad days, or anything else." Listening to his words, I feel a sudden urge to share my fear with him. The fear that if anybody gets close to me, I lose them. This fear has kept me from opening up completely, even with Sky. However, I still can't bring myself to burden him with that right now, so I stay silent.

They sat on the rooftop in silence, the cool breeze brushing against their skin as they gazed down at the school grounds below. The world felt strangely distant from up there, smaller, quieter. Almost like it paused just for them. “I am sorry, that you have to have a father like Adrian,” Lia finally managed to say. Her voice was soft, weighed with sympathy and guilt she knew she didn’t owe but still felt.

“You’re speaking before I ask. You’re initiating conversations, making decisions. You’re feeling without being afraid to name those feelings. This is what healing looks like.” My throat tightens a little. “I still feel scared sometimes,” I admit. “That’s normal. Healing doesn’t mean the fear disappears—it means it doesn’t control you anymore.” I nod slowly. That makes sense. Dr. Derrin studies me for a moment, then leans forward just a little, her tone softer. “Can I ask… when you were thinking about Erik, what did you feel?” I think about the pancakes. His tired eyes when he walked in the door last night. The way he looked at me when I said the two men weren’t him.

Thus, Blue is extremely afraid of what would happen. The worst that could happen is that their friends would think of this as the conspiracy of the East Kingdom. That Hail would lead them out of their world and Skye would be there as assurance that the others would be there while their parents would take over the other kingdoms while all of them were away.

I hid behind a car so she would not see me, this made Sky angry. “For goodness, I want to be with it, why am I preventing that from happening? Sky groaned. “She’s human and we can’t just creep up on her like that. She was already scared of the people around her. Pushing her harder than we should might just scare her away and what if we end up rejected? You know we cannot afford any rejection again.” I said to him.

Another shout filled the tense air. I heard loud shouts of fear, many comments over these things, and complaints that they weren't dying. I couldn't peel my eyes away from the black hole. Fear gripped my bones when I saw a shadow coming out of it. It terrified me more when my eyes lifted up at the sky. The sun was covered with the darkest clouds. Am I in my nightmare? After staring at it I realized they were shadows covering the whole sky. Fear raced through me. "Darkice, they're not clouds." I pointed my finger at the sky.

When Shadows Bleed The sky was wrong that morning. Even before the first screams broke through the forest, Lyra had sensed it the way the wind carried an iron tang, the way the birds refused to sing. It wasn’t silence born of peace. It was silence born of fear. She stood at the edge of the Ironfang camp, her gaze fixed on the horizon. The clouds above were bruised purple and gray, heavy as if the heavens themselves mourned something yet to happen. Garron stood beside her, his expression grim, jaw clenched.

I never realized how peaceful humans look when they are in the depths of deep slumber. Just by looking at one you would think all well within the world, and maybe it is but not in my world. As I watch Sky sleep I realize two things, one being that I have finally embraced the fact that I'm a nonhuman and the other is that for the first time in my life I am truly scared. For the last few days all I have been feeling this intense fear, gut wrenching fear that at any moment one of the demons after me would come and kill the love of my life. Hence why I have been watching him sleep and basically following him around for days now.
