“I can’t feel him. I can’t sense him. This place… it feels different.” Different. That word made my fear grow. I turned in a slow circle, my breath coming faster.What the hell… Did they kidnap us? What do they want with me? “I don’t even have anything they could want.” “Now is not the time for that,” Sky snapped. “We need to get out of here. Let’s run before they come back.” She was right. I nodded to myself. “Okay… okay.” I pushed myself up to stand— And almost fell right back down.

Finnick's POV The voice from the sky had vanished, but the air still blew with its lurking power. Freya and I stood frozen for a long time, watching the scar in the cloud slowly colliding as though it were some unseen hand trying to bring the world back together. The sun hadn't fully risen but the sky above was already garnished with crimson. "Did you hear that?" Freya questioned, her voice quiet,calm and uncertain. She still hadn’t let go of my finger, as if the sound from above had somehow stolen the ground from under her feet.

I inhale sharply as the connection expands beyond Dylan. The city’s emotional grid surges toward me like a tide. Fear. Anger. Love. Grief. Hope. It’s overwhelming. My knees weaken. “Sky made the path for you to get home.” I tilted my head, peeking at Sky. If I voiced out what was running through my mind, Anya and Dylan would probably say I was crazy, but I couldn’t deny these confusing emotions like something was wrong. It was as if, after this beautiful moment, a monster would appear from nowhere and eat us all, and then I would wake up from a nightmare. I looked at Sky again, trying to read his face, but the worry and fear were overpowering the supposed to be the joy of his accomplishment.

“I think the oldest power our species knows just realized it cannot command me.” Rorik crossed himself. Lyra whispered, “Gods do not like being threatened.” “Good,” Kael said darkly. “Let them learn fear.” I looked up once more at the wounded circle in the sky. Fear was not what I wanted from the heavens. Only freedom. But if freedom required confrontation… So be it. Somewhere beyond the forest, thunder rolled across a clear sky. A storm with no clouds. An omen. The whisper did not return. Not yet.

And then my eyes captured the sky turning black while darkening the place. What is this? I stepped back, gulping in fear. The sky is looking so weird, it's like the clouds have turned evil—the sky is changing colors constantly. It was very threatening—I had never seen anything like this before— I wondered if it was a sign of impending danger. "I AM COMING TO YOU, AURORA!" The sound came from the sky, thundering over the place. My eyes widened in response. "STAY AWAY FROM JACOB LOCKWOOD!" The thundering voice from the sky shivered in response.

For a moment I wonder where they are, but the moment is fleeting, just like the feeling of worry I get for them. Pierce fucks all my worries away before I can even have them anymore. And when he's done fucking me, we trade and Rock takes over. All of us are completely lost in each other when we hear the door opening. "You guys, something is happening." His four transparent wings twitched restlessly. The color of the sky had changed and darkened. Keefe could feel a dense demonic aura wafting through the air. It was as if danger was approaching at high speed. Maybe these were just Keefe's unfounded bad thoughts. Maybe this was just Keefe's irrational fear because he imagined the worst possible. However, why was his heart pounding like crazy? What kind of bad premonition was this?

And as usual, Fay immediately crawled into his embrace without hesitation. The little body trembled softly. “Dad,” Fay whispered softly while clutching Hendra’s clothes, “is the thunder angry?” “No.” Hendra gently stroked his daughter’s hair. “It’s just the sound of the sky.” “But it’s loud....” “Because it’s protecting the people it loves.” Fay looked up in confusion. “Can the sky love people?” Hendra smiled faintly. “It can.” “What about Dad?” “What?” “Will Dad keep protecting Fay?”
