“Which one was more your type? Did you miss Oritha because she ditched your lame ass for more tasteful men? Poor thing.” Flinching at the taunt, Felix laughed mirthlessly. The Seer wasn’t all talk. Not only was he skilled at fighting, but he also had a tongue sharper than any knife. Truly, this man deserved his reputation. There wasn’t anyone else on his level, but Felix didn’t want to waste time here. He had players to kill, especially when Johan killed more than him. It was unacceptable. He had to close the gap. Zen and Damian would have gotten far enough when the Seer stalled him. Felix relayed their general direction and hoped Johan would get to them. However, he needed to get out of thi

The king would be powerless to save the second prince if that happened, and he was also certain that the troops on the border would turn against him, demanding that justice be served if the father refused to punish the second prince. BOOOOOMMM…. “Fire Palm Technique Burns the Forest!” Tian Sen leaped high into the air and, with a sweeping motion of his right hand, unleashed a massive palm of fire toward the man wielding the spear. “Pfft, do you think that attack can defeat me? It’s useless! I’m stronger than you—just accept your defeat, you bastard!” he said, twirling his spear before thrusting it into the ground. As he chanted a spell in a low voice, something took shape on the ground—a gia

Nora said. "And there should be no fights between Alice and Nora. Both of you should keep your hatred for one and another locked in," Reggie said. They all joined their hands together. "To unity," they said. "Let's start with this, Fred you saw the body first, even though it was decapitated, is it possible you could get a clear image of the face so Reggie would draw?" Nora asked. "I could try," Fred shrugged. Nora brought out a pencil and paper from her backpack. She handed them to Reggie.

“She carries the blood. I can see it.” Elder Marius stepped forward, eyes wide. “The bond to moonfire—it’s real.” Light glimmered beneath my skin now. Not blinding, but steady. Like something eternal had cracked open. Ember lay still beneath me. Her chest heaved. Her mouth opened—and then closed. She knew. I stood slowly, blade still in hand. “I don’t fight for power,” I said. “I fight because I am power. I am the heir. The flame. The prophecy.”

She stepped away from it, avoiding the blunt of the force heading her way, but her dress caught fire. She screamed, throwing herself on the ground, trying to put it out. Then she stood and opened her umbrella, using it as a shield. "Leave her to me," she growled. All trace of the Lady was gone. With her fangs bared and her vicious eyes, she was more like a monster than a person, charging at Mimbi. Lorna appeared behind her with a rapier in her hand. Mimbi snatched it from her and charged too, using her free hand to conjure another fireball. The guards ran into the house, chasing Lorna, while Mimbi clashed against Lady Numia. The woman moved fast, dodging Mimbi's fire.

I prayed once again to the three gods I usually prayed to, Balder for purity of spirit so that I could go into this battle with a pure heart and not one filled with hate, to Idun for rejuvenation to keep me alive and finally to Tyr so that my vengeance would be accepted and I asked all three to keep Bryan safe. I opened my eyes as I envisioned our success, I could taste it and I wanted it. I closed my eyes again as I heard Bryan. “Hriga hringr hlif, hriga hringr hlif.” I concentrated and the green flames started burning in my hands. “Hriga hringr hlif.” I joined in his chant and I saw the circle lift slightly. We kept on chanting as the green flames burned brighter, the circle started shakin

I guess he will get a lot of questions from her later, but for now, she is in healer mode. Felix leans forward and whispers something to the young pup in front of him and then gets to his feet. He watches as she slowly gets to her feet and makes her way into the next room. I then follow Felix out of the room and back to his office. One of the warriors that were with Robert was standing at the door. Felix growls at him, “Go down into the basement and bring me, Emilia…” The warrior looks at him confused, Felix runs his hand down his face and says, “Slave 1, bring her to me.”

End Cassius's POV I had to remove myself from the room after I said that to Asher. He is the worst of the dragons that live in the palace, so I wasn't lying. Conner’s dragon, Caleb, is the only one of the three who has attempted to show me any type of civility. He still left me alone in the forest once, but he did look conflicted about following Asher’s orders. They all have a lot to learn about humans; Asher the most. Yes, compared to any immortal, humans are weak but we are resourceful, and will fight back if we are pushed too far. I think I have been pushed too far.

After raising his left foot he entered into the same radius as Amelthia, more like into the territory of their enemy. Felix took small and quite steps towards the door that lead to basement. The faint sound were getting more clear and loud now. They could hear Ziven cursing at Amelthia mainly for running away from him and in return soft whimpers from Amelthia could be heard making Felix heart clench. Out of nowhere a loud sound of slap was heard. this was the end, end of Felix's patience, He couldn't stop himself from opening the door and walking down the stairs. The moment Felix opened the door with a bang Ziven and his men turned their heads in Felix's and chief's direction.
