I started to laugh now. “Hey, Wolf. Cut off a finger now. Make a choice but cut it off and show it to the camera!” I exclaimed. Wolf nodded and I watched him do this through the screen. I could see Charlotte’s astonished face. Wolf was ready and he was about to cut it off.

All I wanted was to see my mate. An earth-shattering growl shook the walls but it brought comfort to me when the majestic golden brown wolf took predatory steps as he appeared from the front door. His golden eyes had the fury of a raging alpha and there was no way he’d spare Felix for his audacity. “Alpha Leonardo, you are finally here.” Felix turned to greet him but his anger hiked as he rounded Felix to warn him for his actions.

Ferris nips at Jamie’s heels, and they chase each other and roll on the ground, finally getting the chance to bond. I’m suddenly hit by shivers as I hear a growl coming from the right. Jamie and Ferris turn around to see a huge, well-built grey and white wolf standing among the trees, his red eyes shining menacingly. “Mine,” a low voice reaches my mind, and I instantly know it’s Hendrix, Holden’s wolf. Ferris and Jamie whimper and bear their necks in submission, and Ferris takes off. “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” Felix says through the mind link.

I swallowed hard and focused. “Okay,” I whispered again, more to myself than anyone. “Cut. Cut and hold pressure.” I slid the shears under the wire and squeezed. The wire resisted for a second, then snapped. The fox dropped into my hands, heavier than I expected, warm and shaking. I immediately pressed gauze to the bleeding cut and held firm. The black wolf moved closer. My pulse spiked, but he didn’t rush me. He didn’t bare his teeth. He simply came to the edge of my light and stopped, towering, breathing slow.

To which the wolf growled and hooted. - I don't understand you, let's be careful. We have to get home. Felix of Ironfang appeared from the right stairwell with six of his own wolves and drove into the scaling soldiers with the kind of organized ferocity that came from years of pack combat training. Felix took the first Ashmoor soldier head on. The collision was brutal. The Ashmoor wolf was bigger but Felix was faster. He went under the larger wolf's swing and drove upward and the Ashmoor soldier was dead before Felix stepped back from him. The second Ashmoor soldier shifted fully and bit into Felix's shoulder. Felix did not stop moving. He grabbed the shifted wolf's jaw with both hands and wrenched and the wolf dropped and did not get up.

Felix jams into Kieran's ribs, and he returns the favor with a blow straight to Felix's nose. The crowd roared while Felix stumbled backwards but caught his balance, reaching up to wipe his bleeding nose, and instantly, he saw red. He lets out a growl as his eyes dangerously meet Kieran and then he begins to shift. Bones crack and black fur explodes from his body. His body twists and reshapes into a massive black wolf with yellow eyes glaring venomously and long, brutal fangs ready to rip throats out. Kieran growls and immediately shifts too, his wolf size matching Felix's, and his amber eyes bore a hole into the other wolf's face.

Gradually with every word that he spoke, Nicole was beginning to regain her consciousness but just then a day tipped over one of the stainless steel objects there that made such a loud sound. The sound broke Nicole’s concentration within her body and triggered the wolf even more, they hated loud sound or bright light. The she wolf was pissed now and broke the second restraint almost immediately. Then the rampage begun, she went towards Henry and growled really loudly like she was about to attack him but she was slightly able to recognize him, she tossed him aside and then Nicole turned and rammed her way through the door of the basement.
