It was one of them. The wolf snarled, baring its teeth in a menacing display as it advanced on us. Quinton shifted instantly, his own wolf bursting forth in a show of strength and dominance. I turned to see a black wolf who would be nearly identical to Dulio and Chesed if not for minor differences. She had yellow eyes and inky black fur but red streaks like flames along her flanks. Her markings were similar to how Dulio had blue streaks of lightning. The Berardi crest on her chest set her apart more than anything.

The wolf's toenails stuck quite closely in the ground and left footprints there. "I'm sorry," I said haltingly. The wolf seemed disturbed by my presence. Once again, it growled, signaling at me, as if it answered my words. "I have no bad intentions. Really. I, I just, "I said haltingly. "Just what?" Said the wolf, gray smoke gathered around her, accompanied by the wind that blew, and the wolf turned into a woman with exotic black skin. Her hair was knee-length black, and her irises were still red. Her height is almost the same as me with a slim body, which looks ideal.

“I need to see what we’re dealing with.” When they reached the basement door, Rachel was surprised to find Sophia herself guarding it. The giant black and gold wolf, acknowledged her with a low growl as their eyes met and moved aside for them to enter. “Mrs Landry, this is Rachel. She’s here to help you…” Rachel inhaled sharply as she saw the grotesque creature Mrs Landry had become, chained to the wall. It was as if a perfect split down the middle had occurred. Half of her was wolf, the other woman, both amalgamated into one.

They made sure to stay in the shadows so the sun wouldn't singe their skin. The large wolf with black glossy fur and eyes as silver as the moon growled lowly at Dimitri and Ambrosia. A ginger colored wolf only slightly smaller than the black stood ready to attack. The last wolf was gray with black tufts of fur. I deduced that the three wolves were Alpha, Beta, and Delta. All male.

2. I almost had a heart attack, hearing the woman's voice so close to me. But when she materialized out of the shadows, she merely placed a finger to her lips, signaling for quiet. Getting as low to the ground as I humanly could, I watched as she jogged past me, startling when another wolf emerged from the nearby chalets. As she stood blocking my presence with her body, the she-wolf ordered a shift, and shimmering under the moonlight; the wolf did as he was told. " Shamas, what has you out and about after dark? My father has a curfew for a reason?"

His wolf growled out, his black eyes turning gold, a sign of his wolf emerging from its slumber, only for his sister’s own black eyes to turn copper, challenging his with a small snarl.
