The Bonus That Got Me Arrested
At the company's annual awards ceremony, my boss personally presented me with the "Employee of the Year" award.
The bonus was ten million dollars, and he promised it would go through immediately, right there on the spot.
Hundreds of my coworkers rose to their feet and applauded. Champagne and confetti rained down around me.
But the next morning, the police showed up and took me from my own home.
