Amelia's POV There was a book that I read once that said that it had taken only one push for the lead protagonist to fall into insanity and become the antagonist. I was only fifteen then and that was before Cassius banned Elizabeth from giving me books to read. Something about giving me wings to fly and him needing to make sure that they were clipped. Why was I remembering that book? It was because I was sure, without a shadow of doubt that I was going insane. I didn't know how to explain it to even myself but I was certain that what was happening to me was not normal.

I went into one of the open rooms and surprisingly, it was some sort of study/library. “I didn’t know psychopaths could read.” I muttered to myself, and maybe he didn’t actually read, maybe he was one of those many pretentious people who liked to look like they read a lot and just let the books collect dust. I walked in further and took a look at the clutter of books on the shelves – all boring, I realised. I walk around the stacks. There are a ton of witchy looking books and Finn and Randy start going through those, while everyone else starts at different places around the room. I think it’s more shock than anything as I make no move to touch a single thing in here. It all looks like it’s exactly where it’s supposed to be and chaotic minds organization. Satisfied that romance was no longer forcing itself into the focus, I could work on the plot points of each book. My MC is a smart ass mom (like me) with a mental illness (like me, specifically we both have a dissociative disorder,) and my villain is a smart ass femme fatale who knows how to get around her obstacles and NOT talk about her schemes. This book will hopefully represent mental illness in a way that those without can understand. Holding my knees close to my chest I start sobbing "We're here," the lady says opening the car door for me. It was cluttered with books and materials of all sorts. Several opened books were scattered on the computer table, with red marks and notes scrawled across the pages. Someone had been studying very hard there. Nathan slowly walked over and flipped through the books. Psychology? He frowned as he took in the room. I opened windows and at that time it was cold, but I couldn’t suffocate myself with her stench. So, I drove as fast as I could to the facility. It was one of the facilities my company owned. It’s for the rich who suffer from mental illness. It’s private because they don’t want the public to know about their loved ones losing their minds. I got it though because there were many prominent figures there who lost their minds and suffer from depression due to extreme stress situations. When I got there, they took her inside but not without a fight. She was kicking and screaming calling me a liar.
