For hundreds of years, witches have been a sub species to the vampire race, used as slaves to do the bidding of the undead creatures; but when one witch catches the eye of the vampire Prince, all that could change. The very way the world was run will be erupted into chaos, throwing off the balance that so many had died to protect. When Luna is ripped from her bed in the night, she knew her time had come, that she would pay for her father’s mistake; her world would crumble around her when her mother is killed by the prince and she is taken into his custody. A slave. But that is what all witches should expect, what they are born into. It is the way it had been for hundreds of years, Vampires were the hierarchy of the world, though not that the mortals knew that; and perhaps they never would. The undead creatures liked to feast on the unknowing, on those they could control, dis-guarding the corpses when they had finished. Luna is taken to A city one hundred and seventy feet under the streets of Paris, there she would have to learn how to be a good slave as those around her all believed that witches and warlocks deserved to be there, that they were a lesser species and needed to be controlled. But when the young witch reveals her power, all that was about to change. A mind link had never been formed between a witch and a vampire before, no one thought it possible, but when Luna makes it into Silas’ mind something happens; something that would change the course of their destiny and the fate of all those around them. With rebellion and chaos only around the corner, how will anyone survive?

Because I made Sam Whitaker's "perfect girl" take a cold shower, he threw me inside a freezer and locked the door. "Nancy caught a cold, so now I'm going to make you suffer with her!" I desperately clawed at the freezer door, screaming for help, but all I could see was Nancy Bullocks' lips moving. "Sam cares too much about me, so there's nothing I can do to plead on your behalf. Lucas was living a normal life until truths about his birth, the death of his mother, his twin brother, and who he truly is are revealed by a woman, Mismaia. He embarks on a journey with her to uncover more of his families' secrets. A box left to him by his mother contains answers to where they have to go and what artifacts to search for. The artifacts form a key, there are four all over the world. It opens the entrance to the Underworld. On their journey, Lucas meets a boy named Oliver and his cousin named Megan who volunteer to help locate the artifacts. Along with their search for the four keys, Lucas falls in love with Oliver but can't tell him. His life has become too dangerous and he doesn't want him caught up in it forever. Finding these keys means their lives are at peril, dangers orchestrated by Lucas' brother to stop them. They then discover the identity of the woman who helps and protects them, his mother, alive. She asks him for his help to redeem his brother. Who apparently was stolen as a baby by their uncle. His uncle stole his brother to succeed him after his rule and to continue his plans for chaos on Earth and suffering for human beings. Lucas also learns the reason his mother stayed away for years was to protect and give him a chance at a normal life than what he is destined for. Despite the attempts of his brother to kill Lucas, he makes it his mission to bring his brother back to the Light. He'll battle his brother and uncle for the throne and restore balance to the world. Will Lucas succeed and take his rightful place to rule as the heir of the Light?
