And eventually the forest thinned and the chorus of murmurs reached my ears before I could see the mud houses.

Then she murmured softly to herself. “Business time.” Her fingers moved across the tablet screen as she opened her work files again. Now that her mind is finally settling. Cassienne allowed herself to move forward with hope that soon, Dreston will find his way back.
