After Five Years
Aisha's POV
The supermarket that night was not too crowded, just filled with the occasional squeak of shopping carts and soft instrumental music from the ceiling speakers. I pushed my cart slowly, letting my eyes wander through the rows of fresh, colorful fruits. Apples, pears, oranges… everything looked tempting after a long, tiring day.
I stopped in front of the vegetable aisle, staring at the fresh broccoli and bright carrots. The earthy aroma of freshly harvested vegetables reminded me of the little garden in my grandmother's backyard. Suddenly, I heard footsteps approaching.
