Ashes of Six

Ashes of Six

It was possession. Elias’s voice rose over the chaos, sharp with runes I’d never heard him speak before. His hands burned so bright the air warped around him, each sigil etched like a brand into the dark. Flames roared higher than the treetops, licking across the battlefield in jagged arcs that cut down mercenaries too slow to shield themselves. He wasn’t weaving illusions anymore. He wasn’t calculating costs. He was burning everything that stood between me and him, and if the whole forest went up in ash, I don’t think he would have cared.

May the Flames of Hell Engulf You

May the Flames of Hell Engulf You

Lexie's POV A week later, Daniella was gone. I didn't hold a funeral for her according to her will. Instead, I buried her in the place she had chosen before she passed. There was a lake in front of it, where the sunset could be seen. In the spring, tiny blue and pink flowers would bloom. She didn't suffer much when she died. I cried as I kept telling her I was sorry, but she just smiled and said, "I've already forgiven you."

Uncontrollable Flames

Uncontrollable Flames

the rig, I thought all my tears had already been shed and dried up but apparently, I was wrong. I didn't want anyone to see me like this, especially at work. "Hey Mai, how you are doing? you okay now?" I heard Tasha say before I shook my head making my thoughts go away. Your mindset is the most dangerous place to be especially when you're going through something like this. Nodding my head yes "Hey I'm sorry about that I know that was unexpected and unprofessional I'm sorry I promise it'll never happen again." she shook her head No before giving me a hug. "Mai, you don't have to apologize I know what you've been through, I understand, and I know it's been a while, but certain different thing

The Flames of The Phoenix

The Flames of The Phoenix

When they were almost to the pack house, I used my Green Flames to control the earth to stop them. A Phoenix is born with a specific fire, The Red Flame is the most common The Orange Flame is for healing The Purple Flame is for turning back and accelerating time for a living being The Pink Flame is for telepathy, empathy, and telekinesis Finally, the Blue Flame, is the most lethal, it is as cold as ice but burns like fire. Each flame could burn, but not at the same intensity depending on which flame it is, each having its specific properties. I was born with what we call the Rainbow Flames, it is a Flame created from each of the Flames, I can use them individually or simultaneously. It was h

Claimed by the Fallen Five

Claimed by the Fallen Five

Five pulses answered the question before any mouth could. Ashar looked at his hands as flame curled around his palms without burning him. “I am Ashar of Veydrin,” he said, but the name carried more weight than before. The air behind him shimmered with images of a civilization made of fire, stone, blood oath, and sanctuary towers built into mountains. Then those towers fell in silence, and the last flame entered him like a crown returning to its owner. “God of preservation,” he said, as if confessing to a crime.

From The Ashes

From The Ashes

And yet instead of being comforted, coldness crept up and down her body. She shook her head and opened the paper bag. Her hand raised a black bonnet, in which she placed on her head until only a pair of cold blue eyes gleamed under the moon. She picked a lighter out from her pocket and lit the the paper bag on fire. A plastic scent filled her nose, but it was quickly replaced by the smell of smoke and the scattered ashes. She blew on the lighter, and the flame went out, then she looked back up to the sky and glared.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

And they’re starting to respond, to turn on my whirlwind of flames, to fight back. I watch, curious, as the enemy begins by trying martial force, shooting at my flames with shells and bullets. But that does nothing but make me smirk as I continue to destroy everything before me, the flames reaching out to snag tanks and trucks off the ground, reducing them to ash. And it’s not just what’s on the ground, either. I see the flash of Cora’s lightening in the distance, but some helicopters manage to get into the air, heading for the flame. Eager, the blaze reaches for them with what looks like demonic hands, snagging them out of the sky and smashing them to the ground in flaming arcs that look li

I’m totally obsessed with this book! It’s so well written. The characters in this book are so deep and significantly different from one another. It gives this book the depth that most of the novels lack of. Furthermore, the story is interesting, adventurous, funny yet touching or even scary at times

I’ve read quite a few books on here, both completed and in progress, and this author is hands down the best author of them all so far. Her writing is intelligent and well thought out, her chapters vary in length for the story not for the app, and the plots & character arcs are just… fantastic. 11/10

MATED TO THE STUBBORN HUMAN

MATED TO THE STUBBORN HUMAN

She was a fury on the field, surrounded by lightning and blood, casting shield after shield over our men while slicing through the enemy with terrifying grace. This wasn’t just a battle. This was war. And we were winning. But it wasn’t over. Soon, we were done with the rebels that had emerged from the hidden door. “Fall back and regroup!” I ordered. The shadows were retreating, but I knew better—they were shifting. Lurking. Planning. We had entered the heart of Ashville where the first war had happened and it reeked of death and corruption. The second we got back to the treeline where the others were waiting the ground began to quake. It didn't just tremble, it shook violently.

The Alpha King is a Woman

The Alpha King is a Woman

Kei Fire. My home is on fire. Flames tear through rooftops like starving beasts finally unleashed. Timber cracks. Sparks explode into the night sky. Smoke rolls thick and black, swallowing the stars above Ashen Vale. Ashen Vale. The name tastes bitter now. Every structure I rebuilt with my own hands. Every wall reinforced. Every patrol route redrawn. Every training ground carved from stubborn earth. Burning. Wolves shout over one another. Some are half-shifted—claws out, fangs bared, fur bristling through skin as instinct battles discipline. The air reeks of smoke, blood, and panic.
