My subconscious mind started replying to me. "This is all your fault!" I yelled at stars making an angry face while wiping out my tears with my hands. "Now why are you blaming them?" My subconscious mind asked me for which I started throwing daggers at sky. "Because they are the reason for my current situation!" I exclaimed while angry tears are oozing out from my eyes. "Huh! Now stop behaving like a silly and crazy kid. Explain clearly." My subconscious mind said. "I asked the stars to align properly and send my THE ONE to me ASAP. But now I think, they got misaligned, making the wrong one enter my life instead of my THE ONE!!!" I cried out loud.

Flames engulfed the fire, the smoke from which reached high into the heavens, a sign of escape from this earthly torture. Cole was gone. But I was not. And I would be damned if I let anyone else die for a tyrant’s cause.

"The Blood Flame? Rocky had just sprayed the Blood Flame!" The Blood Flame was number ten on the Enchanted Flame List. Its power was intimidating. However, it still had much lower power than the White Lily Cold Flame. Darryl's White Lily Cold Flame could easily melt the hundred-thousand-year-old metal chains, but the Blood Flame could not break them. As she saw the Blood Flame, Sloan waved her sleeves to form a protective shield to block it. "It has been trapped here for 500 years. It must hate human beings’ guts; that was probably why it attacked when it saw us," Sloan spoke softly.

It tightened its grip on her. One of the rings squeezed around her middle, lifting her an inch off the stone. She gasped, a short, sharp sound of pain. Her fingers curled, shaking. Tiny trails of blood ran down her wrists where the chains had been. Fear shot through me. Hot, blinding, precise. I threw myself at the closest ring. The moment my hand touched the barrier, it started burning, deep beneath the skin, deep beneath the flesh, deep beyond anything human. Smoke curled up my arm.

The white flames were dancing on their flesh even more fiercely when I snapped my finger. "Argh!" "Ahmmm!" The cyclops made a muffled noise as they chaotically rolled their bodies around the floor. I eventually noticed that their jaws had been shackled. The white flames quickly advanced to the chains and began to melt them; the melted links barely had time to burn their mouths before the white flame completely burned them off.

With a final flourish, she extinguished the flames, leaving only a faint wisp of smoke in their wake. Elara, the newcomer with the Celestial Flames, stepped forward next. Her presence commanded attention, and her eyes burned with a fierce intensity. "My power is the Celestial Flames," she said, her voice ringing with authority. "These flames are imbued with celestial energy, capable of healing and destruction."

There was a rush of strength in me, I couldn't contain my being. In the next minute, the chains clamping my wrists began to glow. A cobalt-blue rays as though it was being subjected to an oxy-ethylene fire except it was without oxygen.

“But I’ll make damn sure there’s nothing left of you first.” He lunged again, this time wrapping me in his shadows, chains of smoke tightening around my limbs. They burned cold, numbing, trying to smother my fire. Then I roared, and the blaze erupted outward. The chains burst like brittle twigs, golden fire ripping through his shadows, catching his fur alight. He shrieked, staggering back, rolling to smother the flames. I didn’t give him time. I crashed into him, claws tearing, fangs snapping, the world nothing but fire and shadow and blood.

Enzo’s fangs sank deep into Malrik’s shoulder, tearing through flesh. Malrik screamed, his voice shaking the chamber. But instead of retreating, he clutched Enzo’s throat with one hand, chanting rapidly. Black chains materialized, slithering like serpents from the ground. Enzo tore away, but the chains were faster. They coiled around his limbs, snapping tight with crushing strength. He fought, muscles bulging as he tried to break free, but each chain burned with cursed power, searing his skin, weakening his force.
