Flipped Novels & Stories

The boundary learned patience. For Selene, the test came as adoration. The Veil momentarily fed back her light to her magnified. The sensation tempted the part of her that had been taught—however gently—to be brightness incarnate. She laughed. It broke the glamour better than scorn would have. Mirra grinned, relieved. Ronan said, without heat, “Flatter someone else.” The reflected brilliance dimmed to cooperation.

"I think you just admitted something to yourself through your presentation. I think you're starting to see that your entire worldview might be built on a flawed premise." "My worldview is built on effectiveness," I said. "And it works." "It works until it doesn't," Eli said. "Until you meet someone who does things differently and you realize that different doesn't mean worse. It just means different." I wanted to leave. I wanted to go back to my office and rebuild my intellectual distance from what was happening. But I found myself standing there, engaged in a conversation that was ostensibly about professional strategy but was actually about something far more personal. "Why are you pushing

I have no idea how we were going to exchange our bodies but as he walked to me, Alpha Milo took something in his hand from the blue roses in the center of the coffee table, walking towards us both he gave one petal each, this literary looked like eating a flower would swap us back like the movie freaky Friday. Eating it it tasted like raw meat soaked in vinagre, and salt it was the most soured taste I had ever eaten, and in a blink of an eye I was looking at Calvin’s body.

I tell him. The server walks up to us, “Hello Alpha, it’s very nice to see you,” he says as he hands us our menus. “Thank you Carlos,” he leans back in his chair, looking relaxed and confident. “How’s school going?” Noah asks him. Carlos smiles and animatedly starts explaining how well he’s doing in his medical classes, outlining his favourites. Noah goes on to ask him about training as well and Carlos sheepishly explains where he’s been having difficulties. “Please don’t ever hesitate to ask for advice Carlos, we can have a one on one and I’ll help you past this obstacle,” Noah encourages. “Thank you Alpha, that would be amazing,” Carlos says excitedly, “Can I grab you two anything to start

The flat tops of the axe heads impacted the mat and my body rose up and then flipped over them. This gave me an extra meter and a half on my back flip. I turned that maneuver into summersault, giving three more meters of space. I rolled over to my side and rode the momentum to my feet, facing my adversaries. Now they were the ones in the corner of the mat with their enemy pinning them in and I wasn't done yet.

It was there, amidst the switching sounds of water and the soft glow of bioluminescent organisms, that they stumbled upon a worn deck of cards, tucked away in a forgotten corner. Intrigued by the discovery, they examined the deck with curiosity. Just as they were about to explore its contents, Trent, a seasoned inmate covered in black tattoos that matched his tail and hair, noticed their interest. With graceful movements, he swam towards them, his hands fluidly signing, "Hey, do you know how to play Tridents? I can teach you if you like."

"It's going to have to be a compound lens, I think." "Well, I'm glad that means something to you," Remi said. "It means I will need to use several lenses to change the image. I think it needs to be bigger, clearer, and flipped upside down." I looked at the number of tallies on all the lenses. There was probably several ways to solve this puzzle. So, I just needed to pick a lens and then add a few more to it to change it until it was something I wanted. I knew I needed a convex lens to flip it upside down, so I started with one that had a five on it. That would give it a negative five focal length. I put that about in the middle.

Flip said smugly while looking at Castro his opponent condescendingly. Castro spat on the floor, “go to hell” He raised his hand to attack, Flip narrowed his eyes, “you don't know life from death” He grabbed the void, restricting all Castro's movement, he was like someone clamped in a space.

flashed across the screen, crap. “Hey tay, what’s up?” “What do you mean what’s up?” “It’s almost 5 PM and I haven’t heard from you all day, hello? It’s your birthday party tonight!” “Don’t be mad, but I can’t make it, I’ve come down with the flu or something.” “That’s such bullshit Charlee, you’ve never liked parties, and now you’re trying to back out.” “Really tay, even call and ask my mom, I wouldn’t lie to you about this… I really am sorry, we can do something next week before I leave.”
