Kawa ask as she appears before me to see the gaping hole in the wall. The answer comes to me easily as I ponder her question. "He's not perfect. No one ever truly is. We all have pain and we all have missing pieces. The best thing that we can do is combine our pieces with someone else to see if they can replace some of the things that we are missing. A person can never truly be whole but loving someone, no matter how broken they are, can piece enough of them together so that we can see the bigger picture. I want to be apart of that bigger picture whether its complete or not" I tell her as I place my hand on the missing piece of the wall.

I was trying to be strong, but the cracks were still there. And I wasn’t sure if I would ever feel whole.

The fracture remained. Not expanding as quickly as before. but not disappearing either. It no longer moved through ignorance. It moved through desire. The desire for certainty. For resolution. For an end to tension. And the worst part. was that it made sense. I watched aware patterns drift toward it. Not because they were weak. Because they were exhausted. Awareness demanded constant adjustment. Constant questioning. Constant openness to change. But the fracture offered something seductive: an answer. A final shape.

So I clenched my fists, shoved the pain down deep, and told myself it was better this way. Better broken now than destroyed later. Except it didn’t feel better. It felt like losing the only thing that had ever made me whole.

Not broken. But whole. Forever.

Like three stones tossed into the same pond, their rings colliding and blending until you couldn’t tell which had come first. “We’re not going back,” she said quietly to the water, to the earth, to no one. “So we learn how to live as what we are now. Or we break. And if we break…” She didn’t finish the thought. The Veil hummed faintly at the edges of her perception, steady for the moment. Their work had held. The world was quieter than it had been in months. But calm didn’t erase fault lines. It just made them easier to hear if you listened closely.

Her voice vibrated like thunder. Chris froze, his expression shifting for a brief second, as if her words had landed deeper than he wanted to admit. A group of students slowed their steps nearby, whispering as they watched the scene unfold, but no one dared to intervene. Bryan’s grip on Tessa’s hand tightened as though he feared Chris might lunge forward any moment. The echo of Tessa’s defiant words rang in Chris’s head like a bell. But I knew Chris, he was stubborn when it came to love, especially when it involved the person he cared about.

But her efforts were of no use. Through all the distance, I didn't want to look back, nothing else mattered to me, I felt empty, broken and incomplete. All that went through my mind were memories, memories of our time together. Me with Jade and with him,(Roderigo). "Look where you're going you crazy lady!" A woman yelled peeping out from her class. I hit myself on few obstacles and cars, making some passengers and drivers to yell at me, but I didn't care. To me, it was as if the whole world was mute and went void.
