Someone mutters something under his breath about the gifts, Frank scrubs a hand down his face.
Mr. Hale's eyes meet mine across the room. Again. I look over to Frank, my cheeks flushing when he—Mr. Hale, raises his brows and smiles briefly at me before looking away to the others.
Frank saw what had happened, judging from the way he is rolling his eyes, like how could his friend be all flirty with what is happening.
“Um… It’s not as bad as it looks guys” Frank says, but the whispers don't agree with him. “We're all going to have a wonderful Eve and Christmas, with or without the gifts,” he added.
