Hermione wasn’t someone to give up so easily, and I knew she was coming back. “Says the man who sent out his own wife to chase another love. At least my man doesn’t do that.” She sneered.

“Are you nervous? “Didn’t you say you wanted to be my cultivation partner? Was everything you said false?” Alex’s hand dropped without hesitation, grabbing hard. Hermione felt her heart miss a few beats before looking fiercely at Alex. But, a smile soon stretched across her face again, and she said, “You’re overly suspicious. I will be a goddess in the future, and I will naturally commit to the words that I’ve said. I’ve said that I want to be your cultivation partner, so I will be. Feel free to touch all you want… In fact, you don’t have to tie me up like this. You can let me go, and we can consummate it here right now.”

I don't think I could enjoy sex without it. "Well what's happening here?" Archer is heard as Nero reaches the top of the stairs. I freeze on Nero's shoulder not knowing if I would rather stay as I am and keep my face hidden from Archer, or let Nero put me down so that my arse isn't pointed into the air. Nero makes the decision for me and pats my bottom before setting me down on my feet. Not only is Archer here, but the girl he was loudly having sex with earlier. HERMIONE’S POV [FLASHBACK] “Stop, Hermione!” Bernard yelled, he was trying to get a hold of me in our bedroom as I was going mad. I just confronted him about something I found out but hoped that it wasn’t true. “Hermione, please. Just hear me out, I’m sorry.” He continued, I couldn’t hear him over the boils of my anger. Red was the only thing I could see at that moment, I was tearing down our bedroom. I was smashing the vases on the floor, tipping over my drawer with my skincare, and throwing objects at him.

From what the merman had told her, she was some sort of fae creature, or at least a watered-down version of one. Snickering to herself, she looked up into the sky, watching as the sun dipped lower. How had the day turned into this? It had started off normal, well as normal as it could with four fae men living in her house. Tea had been nice with Annwn. It left her with more questions than answers. Who was Hyster, and why had he looked at her like she was breaking his heart? The pain had been clear to her. She didn’t understand how Annwn could dismiss him away so easily.

“You better not let Alice hear you say that. She’s going to think you’re trying to steal her man.” “I would never. Yes, he is objectively eye candy, but Alice and Vedant have known each other since they were kids since he’s friends with her brother Simon. It’s so cute.” The other girl lets out a dreamy sigh, “They are definitely meant to be. It’s so romantic.” I don’t bother to hold back my eyeroll at their conversation. Some people have a better reason for passing the training class than becoming Vedant’s Luna. I wait until they are a reasonable distance away before following but quickly catch up when they come to a stop.
