I'm still alive," Anna said with a cold sneer on her face. I felt like lightning struck me hard. I was not feeling anything. Why was I suddenly feeling numb all over, even my heart froze?

Colt sighed and sat up straight. “Tell me what?” “The rogues were able to get into a couple cells and a few people died. One of them was Ann.” The news shocked me so much that I stopped everything and looked at him. “Ann is dead?” I couldn’t believe it. “Are you sure?” “She was unrecognizable but it was her. She was in her cell and is the same height and weight.” Colt shrugged but didn’t take his eyes off of me. “Why are you acting like I am going to loose my shit?”

He lets out a loud death cry. Anna and Jason are still locked in intense hand-to-hand combat with their daggers with Anna having the upper hand as she digs her dagger into Jason's side, she smiles at the thought of killing Jason. Suddenly she hears the death cry of Viktor ringing through the woods. Anna is startled by the sound and cries out Viktors name "Viktor!" Jason seizes the moment and digs his dagger under Anna's chin up into her head. The blood flows from the wound and out of her mouth. Anna falls down to the ground dead and Jason lands on top of her, he is badly wounded. Roger still in his werewolf form makes his way back to where he left Jason to find him laying on top of Anna bare

“You have to announce it.” The words lodged deep in her chest, sharp and immovable. Anna looked down at the young man one last time. At the stillness. At the silence where life had been. “Time of death,” she said, voice barely her own. She glanced at the clock. “Sixteen forty-two.” The room exhaled around her but she didn't. She stumbled back, hands shaking, blood smeared up her arms and across her coat. Someone tried to guide her toward the sink, but she pulled away, retreating like a wounded thing.
