The fruit basket tipped slightly but didn’t spill. Still lying beside each other, breathless from laughter, Kaliyah took the slice of apple, then ate it. Levi chuckled. “You’re dangerous,” he murmured, amused. She grinned. “Says the one who lured me with fruit.” She rose into a sitting position, brushing her hair behind her ear as she adjusted her dress slightly, her green eyes glimmering in the sunlight. Then her gaze fell back on the basket, curious. Levi handed it to her gently, his blue eyes watching her with that soft smile that always made her heart flutter.

Ava frowned as she ate the last of the fruit basket. It was filled with some of the most delicious fruits: the juiciest grapes, strawberries, and mangoes. It was truly something she would definitely go and buy for herself in the future. Ava wanted to buy one now but she was leaving the country in a few hours and surely could not finish it in that amount of time.

She looked around, her gaze searching for whoever might have dropped it, but she saw no one. Was someone playing a prank on her? Or had Zayne or Alaric dropped it? She walked into the cabin and carefully locked the door with the half-broken bolt. She sat on her bed and pulled the cloth from the basket. A small gasp escaped her lips, and she stared wide-eyed at the content. Fruits. It was full of fruits. Bananas, apples, oranges, and grapes filled the basket to the brim. A small, folded note sat at the top, and she pulled it.

“Great. Now go into the supermarket. Head to the fruit section. I want you to grab some bananas.” I wanted to scream at Masato, but obediently did as he ordered. Still holding the phone to my ear, I began scanning the fruits, searching for the bananas. A middle-aged man, slightly overweight, sweaty, and with unsettling light eyes, gaped at me when he saw me. He looked at me with lecherous, desirous eyes, and I ignored it. As I started placing the bananas in the plastic basket, Masato’s voice sounded again: “That man can barely contain himself. He’s crazy about you.”

Sigh, I feel guilty for acting badly to him. I stood up when I saw him approaching me. When he was finally in front of me, he gave me a basket. I stared at it for a few seconds before I looked back to Alyn who's now walking away from me. I took a deep breath before I chased after him, "A-Alyn!" He stopped and turned around but he didn't say anything. I pouted and showed him the basket, "What— what am I going to do with this?" "Pick your fruit in the forest," he said and walked away again.

It was really heavy, containing apples and tangerines and lemons and kiwis and strawberries and some other fruits that I just couldn't name. I placed the basket on a chair at the side. “ And father”, she continued, “ I have spoken to my husband, and we would like to contribute to the project you have at hand”. “ Oh, what project?” I never knew I had a project at hand.

She added he last part as if it was an afterthought. I didn’t want to answer that question, our ideas of fun differed greatly. “Spoilsport. Anyways, look what we brought you.” She said shoving the basket in my face, “A basket of fruit.” The basket made me gag, its content rotten and the stink filled my nose. I tried pushing it away but she held it firm. “Now, don’t you know it’s rude to refuse a gift?” Casey said, “We went through so much to get that for you.”

Standing in the door way. Suddenly my basket feels heavy. I look down and find some fruits in my basket. Some apples, a few ripe oranges and a papaya. I look to my side and find Gabriella ~the nice girl from the bath room. Beside me. She had deliberately tilted almost half her full basket into my empty one. I look up at her in confusion. "You'd thank me later. " she says as she winks and hurriedly moves forward till she is lost in the crowd. I look down at my basket and I tighten my grip on it. For some reason I feel having a basket with content is important.

He was so annoying and really enjoyed seeing other people suffer. “Okay. Then I'll stay.” He stood up again. ”Take my basket. It's already full, unlike yours which fell into the ditch. It's dirty, don't even think about taking it again.” He glanced briefly at the basket that was full of his favorite fruit. Also the one belonging to the Girl, which was completely empty. He sighed softly. "Enjoy the pain of not wanting to accept my help.” “No need," said Gadis grimacing. ”Just take your own basket.”

They loved her for her good heart. As she approached the park, she took a moment to investigate the contents in the baskets. Apples, bananas, grapes, cherries... guessing to herself she made out that Jen did not know what fruits the prince would prefer so she put together whatever she could find. Shinja did not know either so she went with whatever Jen had come up with.
