A man hit by a car in New York in 1977 got up uninjured, but lay back down in front of the car when a bystander told him to pretend he was hurt so he could collect the insurance money. The car then rolled forward and crushed him I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon. Li Shi Zhen gasps, "Take a look at that. Beautiful view!" The sound of the river calms the soul; I inhale the fresh air and exhale my worries. "Liar!" screams a middle aged man, who is wearing a bamboo hat. "These cats are mine. I had been feeding em' since they were born and was suppose to sell em' to a buyer. How dare you try to tell me they are yours?" The grandson of the old lady cries, "But they are mine.. yesterday, I left the kittens near our barn and they went missing soon after. They look exactly like my cats; they are all female."

“Stop pretending! You told your neighbor that Fudge is pregnant. When I went to the vet to ask about it, I was told that she’s going to give birth soon. She vomited only because she’s pregnant and not because of the food I prepared.” Catherine became even more pissed as she spoke. She then flew into a fit of rage. “Shaun, do you think it’s fun to trick me by treating me as a fool?” Shaun’s expression turned somber. He was slightly embarrassed.

Cat had a hot guy radar like no one I’d ever met. I filled her in. Just as I finished the long version of my story, the waiter brought us our food. I dug into my steaming bowl of mac and cheese, sure that carbs were the solution to all my problems. Cat shoved a chili-covered fry into her mouth. “I can’t leave you alone for even a single weekend, can I?” she said around her food. “If you ask me, you should never, ever go back there. That’s just asking for trouble.”

Liam suggested. “Hey, what happened to your face? It looks like you got hurt,” Liam added. Keanu touched the scratch on his cheek from his mother’s slap. “Oh, this... I have a mischievous cat at home,” he lied. Liam laughed. “So, you’re an animal lover, huh? It would help to get your cat checked regularly to ensure it’s healthy. Sometimes... a cat attacks not because it dislikes its owner, but because it’s feeling stressed....”

“You look like someone who could use a good laugh.” I raise an eyebrow. “Do I?” “Yep. Lucky for you, I’m full of stories. Did I ever tell you about the time I outran a tornado in my old pickup truck?” I blink. “I don’t think so.” He launches into a tale so animated and absurd I can’t help but laugh. “...And there I was, wind howlin’, my dog howlin’, and me screamin’ at the top of my lungs like a banshee! But we made it, me and ol’ Duke.”

the cat said, brushing my leg with its tail. "You don't need to be scared, just relax, you are safe here." It said, still brushing my leg with its tail. I heard Tina laughing at my expression and I frowned, "Do you think this is funny?" I asked her angrily, showing my displeasure and she chuckled, making me more angry. She just has a way of getting me angry. I exhaled heavily to calm myself as I tried to relax a bit. "My name is Fiona," The cat introduced herself, gazing at me with her greenish eyes.

Holly suggested they tell stories to pass the time. Isabella started, recounting a funny story from her childhood about getting stuck in a tree while trying to rescue a cat. Holly followed with a tale of her own, involving a disastrous attempt at baking a cake that ended with the fire department showing up. When it was Maxwell's turn, he hesitated. "I don't have any funny stories." Holly nudged him playfully. "Come on, Maxwell. There's got to be something." Maxwell thought for a moment, then began to speak. "Alright, but don't laugh. When I was a kid, I was terrified of thunderstorms. Every time one hit, I'd hide under my bed with my favorite stuffed animal, a rabbit named Mr. Fluffy."

That way, it would be easier when it was time to give her up. The small feline glared back at me and climbed onto my lap more determinedly, giving a loud, demanding meow. I bared my teeth at the angry-looking cat. “I’m not gonna pet you. For all I know, you could be a fellow criminal like your owner. Hell, you could be the mastermind.” When a low snicker reached my ears, I looked up to find Mom trying to hold in a laugh. “What?” I demanded. “It could be true.”

He's going to tell everyone that this cat belongs to him! [Hahaha!]
