“Story!” I couldn’t help but smile. “You want a story?” I asked, stifling a laugh. The children nodded excitedly. “The wolf story!” one of them exclaimed. “We want to hear the wolf story again!” How could I refuse? The ‘wolf story’ in question was one that I had made up yesterday on the spot, a story about a rogue wolf chasing a little girl. It was a scary story that had made the children gasp, their eyes wide with fear, but they seemed to love it.

Trembling, she clutches onto her blanket, feeling paralyzed with fear and uncertainty. Sunny shouts, Please leave me alone! " But the spirits pay no heed to her pleas; their whispers only intensify. Desperate, Sunny frantically searches for a way to escape the haunting presence, her heart pounding in her chest. Sunny gets off the couch and runs to the corner of the room, looking around while hearing eerie whispering. She's scared to move, fearing that any sudden change might provoke the spirits further.

But soon, she would understand the consequences of being miserly. One day, while Greta was mocking me as usual, Hilda gleefully watched on. She walked into the living room with a glass of water to keep her throat hydrated. However, her movements were cautious, and she shuffled around nervously. As she was about to sit down, I suddenly shouted, "Ah!" Startled, she plopped down onto the chair, and there was a loud popping sound. Hilda let out an ear-piercing scream. Trembling, she glanced downward and saw that her pants were completely soaked. Her eyes rolled back into her head, and she fainted on the spot.

It was slow, deliberate, and chillingly intimate. I pulled my face in disgust, instantly rolling my eyes. My fear was quickly replaced by a sudden annoyance. If their goal was to scare me, they should've come up with something a lot more creative. "If you’re trying to scare me, you’re going to have to work a lot harder than that. I’ve had men try to kill me in my sleep. I've been sold like livestock. I've had a bounty on my head. To me, you’re just a heavy breather with too much free time."

The next story Laura Figures. The night I drag myself here, Fantasies is suffocating with bodies. The one night I need release after a week from hell, the place is pulsing with noise and sweat. Everywhere I turn, heat and perfume press in, laughter cutting through the bass. It is not just crowded; it is overwhelming—the kind of crush that makes me wonder if I have lost my mind thinking this is the cure for burnout.

Just remember, if you don’t want things to go bump in the night, don’t tell anyone else about them. Even now the shadows in my room play havoc with my subconscious, so I turn the light on and sleep with one eye open. Also, when my computer starts to go on the fritz just as I write a particularly spooky part of a story, I chuck it up to chance and swallow a little harder before checking to make sure that I have only one shadow. It’s amazing that I still get so scared as an adult. You sure would have thought that for someone who makes a living scaring people, I would know better, right?

Ben jerked the truck into the driveway of their friend’s house, killed the engine, and turned to the others. “We can’t tell anyone,” he said hoarsely. Mark shook his head violently. “Are you crazy? We have to tell the cops — tell someone! That guy… those people… they’re still out there!” Ben leaned his forehead against the steering wheel, trying to breathe. “And say what, Mark? That we snuck onto state property because of a dare? That we saw ghosts? That some psycho tried to eat us?” Dylan finally spoke, his voice small: “What if they don’t believe us?”

He is smart tho but immature to think I will fall for his tricks and lies. " Strange beings? Like the ones in the movie?" I asked pretending to be scared " Yes, like the ones in horror movies with long nails that dig into the skin deeply and scary face" he said and I imagine the strange beings digging their long nails on someone skill and the scene is so scary. It's just an illusion, I don't have to believe everything he says. He is just trying to create fear and panic on my mind. " They really look so scary" I said pretending to be very scared.

It wasn’t the side she knew of her. “Nope.” Layla was quick to deny. “Some random stories aren’t scary. But…” She paused to take a look at their faces making sure she had successfully grabbed their attention. “What if those stories are near you?” she asked, sending a shiver down to their back with her low, eerie voice.
