The old man teased before shrugging with a harmless expression, and hinted, “Don’t you often have things that you didn’t walk in with?” Zelda slumped despondently onto one of the empty couches and closed her eyes. Moments later, she suddenly sat upright, her eyes flying open. Her gaze narrowed at the old man for a full minute before rushing over and dragging him out. Once outside everyone’s earshot, she asked with urgency, “The soul replenishing bead… give me six.” She extended her hand looking nothing like the ethereal dignified goddess and more like a rogue. Zelda's POV I leaned back in my chair and wiped my face with the back of my hand. Actual tears. From laughing. I could not remember the last time I had laughed hard enough to cry and I was choosing not to examine what that said about the last few days of my life. Riven was funny. Genuinely, unexpectedly funny in a way that snuck up on you before you could decide whether to allow it. I had not planned to open up to him. I had planned to keep the walls exactly where I had built them, solid, maintained, no entry.

Each hand held the other arm when they were supposed to be tucked in his chest. “Then wait until I know all the lines in my head, too.” Zelda replied wittily. “When is that going to happen?” “When I listen to it twenty more times.” “Twenty? I'll start counting from now.” Zayn said, looking troubled, and I burst into laughter. At times, watching them talk was the most relaxing thing ever. “Is there something on my face?” Zelda asked, slapping her cheeks to dust something invisible off. “No, mummy just loves to stare at you both. You both look stunning.” I replied, and began to flip the pages for the ones that contained the story of Aurora in them.

You can eat on your own.” The maid looked relieved. “I’m so glad you’re here, Miss Zelda. Let me take a quick break. I’ll come back soon,” she said, leaving.

Carter swung the dungeon door wide open, and I was abruptly snapped from my daze. "Step out. What are you waiting for? Do you plan on wasting away in there?" Carter's irritating tone spurred me into immediate action. I scrambled to my feet and hurried toward the exit of the dungeon. Before I could make my escape, Carter seized my right arm, pulling me away from the dungeon's confines. "Ew, what's that awful smell?" James complained, wrinkling his nose. "I believe it's Zelda. She emanates quite an unpleasant odor. Just look at her body, and observe her face—stained with food particles," Carter remarked, releasing my arm and stepping back, clearly disgusted.

However, at the moment, he had no choice but to believe it. "I'm not someone you can afford to offend," Lucas said slowly. "Hahaha!!!" Elder Goulding burst into laughter without warning, sounding as though he had never heard such a hilarious joke in his life. "Do you really think that two Rank 4 Zombies can defeat this old man?" Elder Goulding looked at Lucas with great disdain. "Biggy, Scarlet, I’m sure you guys know what to do now?" Lucas asked. All of a sudden, Biggy and Scarlet took to the air and charged forward, moving at a speed that was beyond comprehensible.

Helpless, the mysterious man could only seek help from her mushroom monsters to find her. The scene showed the man talking to the various mushroom monsters haunting the dungeon floor. He saw the zombie puffball mushrooms that only sprayed spores that turned his leg to stone, crippling him. Then, he approached the mushrooms that took over the man’s cave but were quickly knocked out with sleeping gas and tossed out. As a last resort, Zen watched the man talking to the blue mushrooms that looked like lily pads who tricked him into stepping on them and carrying him across the lake before they disappeared underwater, leaving him to struggle. Eventually, the man drowned and never appeared again.
