For a girl, ‘Seraphina.’” “Beautiful choices,” I said, resting my head lightly on his. “I was thinking of something like ‘Lucien’ for a boy. Strong, timeless.” He practically melted. “I love that.” Every word I said was a lie. But each one was a step closer to freedom. If I had to fake a future to survive the present, so be it.

I said, to Leia who was resting her head on my chest. “Okay, so here it fucking goes. List number one are the normal fucking names, like. Nova, Cara, Aria and Aurora.” “They’re all cute names. What about the not normal list?” I said, very curious how strange these names would be. “Okay, these are all inspired by fucking movies or games.
