The situation in school didn’t make it any better for her to continue to focus much but Vevina had been gifted with good brains like her father. Even the smart ones, if they don't study, it will be really difficult. Genius is different from studious. The genius, that's just a rag, you know right away, the studious almost spends his whole life studying and memorizing the entire book. You understand what you read differently than just memorizing it. Stupid schools on earth. Exam, they say enumeration. Education nowadays is teaching students just to memorize not to understand deeper.
