The greenish-blue glow was a little off, but nearly every single window was wide open! The frost wraith, Chloe, floated to the front. Her little face was wrinkled with worry. The Hungry Dead clutched his precious empty bowl. His drool threatened to spill from the corners of his mouth, but his eyes were full of concern. The banshee had stopped crying, sniffing and staring upward. The Poltergeist was holding some random rusty pipe, looking ready to charge up and tear the building apart… There were also the Hanged Ghost, Shadow Sneak, Pipe Phantom…

He walked to him and wrapped him in his arms. "It’s a full moon tonight". Callum said. "It’s blue moon tonight". Stephen said. "Huh"? "It happens once every ten years. And for years I have spent it alone. You know at Blue Moon, the power of a Vampire is extended to much higher. It heightens all senses. It makes everything highly intoxicated". He was explaining in a husky voice, nipping on Callum 's shoulder. Callum craned his neck automatically but Stephen stopped him. "Don’t allow me Callum . I won’t be able to stop myself". He growled slightly.

She interrupted as she wiggled her hips again, tossing her hair over her shoulder in what she clearly thought was a seductive move. The problem here is that, because she is a ghost, half her body kept flickering in and out of visibility. One second she is grinding on me, the next second, she vanished completely, and then bam, she is back, a little off-center, her knee phasing through my fucking thigh and it's really scary.

By the time Richard arrived, the funeral was almost over. Everyone who had come to say goodbye was gone. Only I remained. I wanted a little more time with Chloe. She'd always been clingy. And she was afraid of the dark. "Richard, see? I told you Selena was lying. If this were really a funeral, why is nobody here? This is obviously another stunt to get you to come home." Grace's voice cut through the silence. Richard's face darkened.

He almost whispered. The werewolf suddenly realized his grave error. “Please forgive me—” “You failure!” Ghost snarled and flicked his hand. A curved, shiny and metal instrument of death flew out of his hand and straight into the werewolf’s neck with a wet chunk. Watery choke sounds filled the room, acting as a gruesome background music to Ghost’s toe-curling voice as he yelled to the guards standing in the shadows. “Spread the word far and wide, Rhea Damon is now at the top of my wanted list. Anyone who brings her back to me, dead or alive will receive my honored reward!”

You too" I muttered to her. "Hmm Aeshe whats the feeling of being ghosted?” she asked me out of nowhere. "Did you see the guys who cry when we are leaving them? And to see a guy crying with just a week of flirting with them it would have been a lot of pain that it caused them to cry like that." I said to her.

It resembled heat haze over a frozen pond. Roric raised his lance, but Kael gestured for him to wait. "Don't waste the charge." Out of the gray mist emerged a wolf. But it wasn't an ordinary wolf; it was a Ghost-Packer. It stood nearly seven feet tall, made of a translucent, oily smoke that shifted and swirled. Instead of eyes, it had two hollow cavities filled with flickering violet static-the remnants of a soul deleted by Liora's "Link," yet refusing to leave the physical plane.

Those eyes lifted and locked on mime and the glass instantly stopped moving. “The dead has no business with the living, Riven Cole,” he said, voice low enough that only I heard the tremor under it. “We don't tend to corpses here.” I crossed the distance, my boots leaving wet prints on sawdust, then I placed my hands on the counter and said in a low voice, “Then pour one for a ghost.” The room seemed to respond to my words like they heard me, a hush spreading round. I heard a chair scraping the ground and seconds later, someone in the back muttered “traitor”.

Before he could react, his phone rang urgently. "Hello?" A cold voice answered, "Mr. Hart, we received a report. We found a woman's corpse at one of your rental properties."

Leo began. I eyed him sceptically. "You've mentioned that before." "Indeed, but there's more. Someone is controlling him," Leo continued, dropping a picture on my desk. It showed a shadowy figure draped in dark robes. "He is known as Ghost." Interest flared within me as I took up the image, scrutinizing the elusive figure. "Could this be the same man who visited Aurora's grave?" I pondered aloud. "The unique thing about this man is that he has no scent. I've spoken to people who've encountered him," Leo added.
