Rouges and Rebound
Gerta starts, “Well, I have been a rogue for about fifteen years. I used to be part of this movement that kicked against the discrimination rogues were treated with, and our first major act of solidarity was to declare ourselves rogues and disassociate from our pack. Unfortunately, that was one of the worst decisions we ever made. The Hunters picked us of one by one till I was forced to go into hiding.”
She looks around the circle with a sad smile, “It was such an encouragement when I found out there was a whole initiative dedicated to helping rogues. If only my comrades could see this now,” she wipes her eyes and the crowd claps.
“Thank you, Gerta,” Gray walks up to her and gives her a hug.
