Then, before Nightshade’s eyes, her form began to change. Her bones cracked, her face stretched, and her cloak tore apart as thick fur burst from her skin. Her eyes glowed a bright yellow. Within seconds, the old woman was gone—replaced by a massive gray wolf, growling low and dangerous. Nightshade barely had time to react. He reached for his dagger, but pain shot through his injured side. He gritted his teeth and tried to shift into his wolf form—but before he could, the beast lunged.

We all went outside, then suddenly a blood-curdling scream sounded so loud the animals of the forest scattered. Then the sound of bones breaking mixed with those screams, made more than a few of us non-werewolves more than a little queasy. We all stood back and watched as Linden’s nose and mouth elongated into a snout, he lowered to all fours and his front feet changed to paws and his back feet changed to wolf’s feet and claws protruded from the tips of each toe. He started sprouting brown fur all over his body and this made him scream even more. Finally, the screams turned into a howl, indicating the shift is complete, and the rest of the wolves echoed his howl in approval.

She shakes her head, "I haven't... I hope it is you." "I hope so too, Marionette..." The trumpets play, and the people halt from dancing. They all run outside to witness the fireworks. The firework shots in the dark sky, filling it with hue and shades, and they all feel delighted. As the fireworks shine in the sky in Marionette's eyes, Alphonso shines the most. She couldn't hold herself as she wants to be the one for him. The big loud clocks ring in the castle. Most of the young werewolves start to scent their mates. In an instant, I stood before the vampire in my werewolf form, my snarling visage a testament to the strength I possessed. The vampire's mocking smile faltered, its confidence wavering as it beheld my transformed state. Fear flickered in its eyes, a recognition of the formidable opponent it now faced.

Kyle asked with a deadpan expression. "Force? Kyle you know you were born for this and you can't escape it. The Lycans and Werewolf's need a good ruler that will defeat Grey Jang. After the Grey is gone, you can go back to your CEO life." Drew retorted and Kyle glared at him and Drew made the gesture of zipping his mouth and throwing the key away. Grey Jang is a vampire who seeks revenge on Lycans and Werewolf's. Grey claimed that the Werewolf's killed his wife and now seeks revenge. He had a lot of minions which he occasionally sent to the Werewolf territory but the Vampires were defeated by the Werewolfs usually because of numbers advantage.

Zira’s heart hammered in her chest as they parted. The howls turned into screams. Her hands flew to her mouth as she watched the biggest wolf she’d ever laid eyes on twist and groan. Its bones snapped as it morphed from wolf to human. Their leg was caught in a bear trap and was shredded all the way to the bone from all the twisting and moving during their transformation.
