As expected, a couple of wolves jump out of hiding and begin circling us, their intent clear as they growl. I could easily take them all if I was on my own but now I had a mate standing behind me trembling in fear. I contemplated turning to my wolf and finishing these rogues off but I can't risk her safety so I quickly connect to the mind link trying to reach my beta and pack while making sure she was still safe behind me.

My nose flared to catch every change in testosterone and adrenaline that would let me know when he was about to attack. He started using every move he knew, his fists darting out, his feet kicking fiercely, but now I was full of wolf hearing, wolf reflexes. Nothing he sent at me connected; the wolf danced aside to avoid his attacks. A wolf would typically go for legs to cripple its prey. Human arms snapped out instead of wolf jaws. I swung off of his kicking legs, bringing him down. I spun into his punches, jamming my elbow into his side. My actions blended with his movements.

Turstin looked back at the nonchalant Adelard, he seemed unconcerned for her or the baby he claimed to own just a few moments ago. “What the hell have you done?” Turstin jumped at his brother. Adelard pushed him off to the side, narrowly escaping the sharp claws of the white gigantic wolf. Adelard howled loudly as he changed his form into a brown and white wolf. The two wolves started to attack each other, and the battle between the two of them became fierce, no one dared to intervene. Their whimpers could be heard even outside the castle. They fought for a while both inflicting pain on each other, with a few bites and cuts; but nothing insignificant. Though they were furious with each other

The wolf, covered in red fur, bit down on the grey wolf’s scuff hard and ravaged its rear end at a crazy speed. The grey wolf whimpered and before everyone’s eyes, the bigger wolf ripped its head off, flinging it into the air.

I led Winter into the woods, finding a secluded spot, and patiently waited for her to shift. Observing her quietly, I marvelled as she gracefully removed her clothes and transformed into her wolf form, the elegant and beautiful Kira. Her fur, a soothing beige, looked incredibly soft and abundant, setting her apart from the typical appearance of a wolf. It gave her an air of gentleness and fragility, but I knew better than to underestimate her; as a gamma, Kira possessed strength and resilience.

If wolves had facial expression, I bet this one would be humoured. I knew my wolf form was way smaller than the average size. I couldn't even say it was characteristic of halflings because even though Chris and I had fairly small wolves, Roman's had been relatively large. My coat also stood out because technically, I wasn't really a Silvercrest. Silvercrest wolves had their fur in different shades of brown, mine was grey with shades of white, which was characteristic of my original pack. Uncle Victor's coat was a deeper grey-black. I lunged at the wolf, using all my energy to knock it away from Joshua.

He was hesitant at first, but after talking and getting to know one another over a couple of drinks, he decided that one night with me might help to settle his wolf and satisfy him long enough to keep up his search for his mate. He was still very handsome for an older wolf. His hair was ash brown and kept in the style most older wolves seemed to like. Shaved short on the sides and back, and only about an inch and a half on top. His eyes were a muted shade of sky blue, but somehow, they still looked warm and inviting. I’m sure it was his personality shining through.

Either way this is going to be intense. As Jinx’s paws pad along the smooth surface of the path, a movement catches my eye, alerting me to a sandy coloured wolf approaching at speed. Jinx runs at him, mouth ready to attack before he attacks us. Jinx sinks his teeth deep into the flank of the wolf, as he jumps at him, breaking through the flesh easily. A whimper from the wolf tells me he is unlikely to be getting back up anytime soon, but Jinx moves to his neck and clamps down, jerking awkwardly to snap it, ensuring another of our enemy was ended.

Zyphre is also a midnight-black wolf with the same mark in the middle of his forehead. So, yeah, I was surprised. And then appeared another large wolf with silver fur. “Stop.” I yelled and Winter immediately paused the video. My heart was now thudding hard against my ribcage. The wolf was almost shifting back into his human form when I asked her to pause the video. My eyes were now glued on the screen, widened in shock. Silver wolf…. Black wolf with white strip… In one pack, and if I correctly remember, Madeline’s wolf was of snow-white color….

I shook out my fur as we ran and I glanced to see 3 wolves in step beside me. Codyn’s wolf was a sandy color with brown eyes and highlights in his fur. His wolf was slightly bigger than mine but that only made me realize how large Juno really was for a female wolf. Scarlyt’s wolf was the smallest, by far. She wasn’t kidding when she told me she was little. She was a gorgeous cream color with yellow and green eyes and paired beautifully with Codyn.
