I had never met King Panja, and I hoped I wouldn’t. After discussions about the future of Bhakhil and me announcing that I would be handing over 50% of the mines to Jasper and Eloise so they would have the funds to put into the pack, Jasper, Cameron, and El left to go make announcements. One of the announcements was that the Gladiator Games, effective immediately would cease. Instead, a celebration would be held on the full moon to solidify a new beginning and a new Alpha and Luna.

Emma and his shifter allies sprang into action, engaging in a fierce battle with Selene's supporters. Emma, who had been training with Lukas and his allies, showed impressive skill, using her wits and agility to hold her own against the shifters. Start taking this every day, and you'll get your strength back soon.” I stared at the herb. The irony was almost too much to bear. I was pale because I was already carrying Lucian's pup, and because our bond was fraying, I didn't have the Alpha energy to sustain it. But as a healer, I knew Moon-Sere was incredibly potent. The energy surged again, stronger now, lifting the hairs on Xavier’s arms and making the air ripple with moonlit static. Rylan swore loudly from his post. “Okay. She’s glowing. Again! I wait til I hear feel the cold air drifting into the kitchen and the soft sound of a door closing before glancing into the hallway again. Through the doors glass I could see Embers back to me. The left side of her body was eliminated white from the moon and her hair looked like silver threads as they hung down her back. Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.

A way for my pack to show off their female population. My eyes scanned the crowd but neither really saw through the mass of bodies nor heard far due to the music blaring from the speakers. The fairy lights covering the pillars and the railings were eye-catching but what stood at the spotlight was the moon. I might have forgotten it was a full moon night today. How magnificent it felt, to be under the moonlight that seeped through the clouds, falling on us from time to time. A male gestured me over, and despite my nerves, I approached him with a curtsy when I sensed the power coming from him. He smelt of gamma blood, a third in command or the warrior wolf.

Everyone stood around the outside of the circle holding their candles. Magenta stepped into the center of the circle. “Members of the Moon Shadow Pack, we are gathered tonight before the Moon Goddess, Selene, to humbly ask that Princess Brenna Sutton join the ranks of Luna among us.” Then she turned toward the moon and raised her arms. “Oh, Moon Goddess, I present to you Princess Brenna Sutton as a Potential Luna.” Magenta took the candle from me and stepped away. I took my place in the center of the stones, looked up at the moon, and lifted my hands. “Oh great Moon Goddess, I, Princess Brenna Sutton, humbly present myself to become your next Luna, if you so choose.”

We have recently started hosting weddings and corporate events. Silver Moon is about two hours away by car and 50 min by wolf. They are new to the alliance even though the Alphas and future Alphas have known each for years. The three packs have always watched each others backs but Silver Moon has only recently officially joined the Alliance. I don’t know much about Silver Moon except that they are building the brewery called the Moonlit Water opposite the lodge to increase the revenue for the Alliance and they will be joining the Alliance Run for the first time. “Snowy you up yet?” my dad comes through our mind-link.

Midnight Moon has found its Luna and I have a mate. Maybe not quite the way I would like, but that doesn't affect my happiness.
