Ryle stood as she entered, stepping close. “You okay?” She didn’t lie. “No.” He exhaled. “We’ve got something more you need to see.” He motioned her over to a screen. Echo had pulled up genetic records cross-referencing the neural codes, activation sequences, and something else… something buried in old Crescent blueprints. Lily blinked at the header: PROJECT GLASSHEART. “What is this?” she murmured. Ryle hesitated. “It’s not just a project. It’s you. You weren’t just being watched, Lily. You were designed.”

Lily comforted and turned to face Derry. "Okay, so we were just teenage girls. In class, Lyla told us she had a surprise for us. We were excited. She led us to the school washroom carrying her backpack. Once there, Lyla told us she found out that, if we want our toilet bowl to glow, we just need to fill the reservoir with the liquids in a glow stick. So, we sat in the cubicle and spent the rest of the day, cutting lots of glow sticks and emptying the contents into the toilet reservoir," Lily said giggling at the memory, Lyla tried to hide under the sheet and Derry was smiling while listening to Lily.

"What." "The spring menu item. What are you going to do with it." She blinks at the subject change. Then her expression shifts into the focused professional one and she sits up slightly, more animated immediately. "Lavender honey glaze over a pâte sablée base. But the lavender has to be restrained otherwise it tastes like soap." "How do you restrain it." "Infusion time and temperature. You pull it early." She's using her hands now. "The honey carries the floral note forward so you don't need the lavender to do heavy lifting."

Eric blurts out angrily, pushing past me to get into the room. Glenda gives me a half smile, patting my shoulder quickly before walking towards Lily with a handful of different herbs. I take a deep breath before turning around and walking to the side of the bed. I place my hand on Lily’s, trying to reassure her that I’m here. “Glenda, what are you doing?” I ask, watching her mix different herbs together in a bowl before mixing it into a paste. “I will place this behind her ears…” she says while placing a tiny bit behind Lily’s ear, “a tiny bit… on her nose. And… the rest onto her chest.”

I pick a petal from the flower, crushed it inside the bowl and mixed it until it was almost refined. "Wait, aren't those like.....deadly?" Isaac asks, upon seeing the flower on the table and what I've crushed into the bowl. "Could be" I shrugged as if it didn't matter, casting a glance at Collin who was still there just glaring at me. Lilium 'Stargazer' is a hybrid lily, it's not necessarily dangerous to humans. I have used it many times to make tea, and it is one of my favorite of the said plant family. It's scent is sweet and calming, I mostly grow these types, along with Madonna lily, my two favorites.

“I’ll heal her. But she’ll be weak for a while.” “Good enough,” Kaid said firmly. “At least she’s alive.” Lily didn’t look up. Instead, she reached into her satchel and pulled out two small vials filled with glowing blue liquid. She shoved them into Kaid’s and my hands. “What is this?” Kaid asked, suspicious. “My own concoction,” Lily said briskly. “Distilled from the waters of Eir's Stream, infused with witchcraft.” I sniffed mine and gagged. “Smells like death.”

There's some things age doesn't take away. “Oh, thank you.” Lily said, running up to my door. “You're gonna crack your ankles in that stiletto.” I said immediately she let herself in. “Your mom says my eye makeup needs to be more bitchy, I hope her daughter knows what that means, cause you my dear, are gonna fix it for me.” She said, laying her hand on my shoulder. Lily wore one of the most seductive gloves I had ever seen. It was lace and looked so beautiful. The purple color matched her eye shadow and lipstick.

**** Fyre was waiting for an opportunity and it came, too easily, she smiled staring at the little flower in her hand, others may not know the poison Master's weakness but she does. She looked at her hand and then at Lily who chuckled “Really darling, if you were able to do everything correctly at the first time, you would be a goddess. Try again. Only you will know if you are ready to go in for the wall will only open to you” Gemma turned back around to the wall and touched it again. Again it didn’t open. Feeling frustrated, she kept placing her hand randomly on the wall, her feet moving left, then right as she tried to work it out. Dropping her forehead against the wall, she breathed out in disappointment, her sigh echoing around her. Opening her eyes again she looked down at the grass in contemplation when she realised that a few scattered white Lilies were planted.
