Glint Audiobook Novels & Stories

My sight went completely dark, scanning for Raven in the inner realm but I went so far that I couldn't even find him. “Put him down,” a voice echoed in the darkness, familiar yet I couldn't see anything. “You heard the mayor's orders, right?” Another deep voice repeated in my hearing, enough to keep me from drifting away. “I said, put him down!” That familiar voice again, sharp with a faint echo of a growl. I forced my eyes to see through the void yet only my glitching Auditory Veil made it outside. A deep rumble pierced through my fading hearing, “this is on you, Grace.”

Her fingers tightened around the crystal as her grandmother's voice continued, reciting what sounded like an ancient healing chant. "Grandmother," she whispered, her voice breaking on the word. The crystal contained nearly an hour of recordings—Grace's voice preserved through magical means, captured perhaps during healing chants or storytelling. A treasure beyond price for Aurora. Tears streamed freely down Aurora's face, yet a fragile smile touched her lips as she listened to the familiar cadence of her grandmother's speech. Her fingers trembled slightly as she cradled the crystal closer to her chest. I knelt beside her, gently wiping away her tears with my calloused thumb. "I'm sorry, Auro

Even the bug fixes matched mine. Something was seriously wrong. That was when a voice, low and sharp, cut right into my ear. "Kelsey, are you snooping through my code?"

I willed my will to charge forward and reck havoc inside that glue matter, my aura is still solid and pure, but this time I defused it with my will in top of its power not to probe or discover, nor to defend or to pull it back but to go forward and attack, despite feeling my aura getting weaker by the second, I will not give up, my zombified shell starting to crack while my eye socket is full of dark smoke that not a smoke, solid and pure black but still maintain its gaseous form. ‘If you want it all, here it is, I’m not going to be killed again without a fight….not again’ my thoughts gives my will a last boost and the cracks started to accumulate faster while the the damn matter starts to

But then I caught it. The faint glint in his eyes. It wasn’t normal. For a heartbeat, they weren’t brown anymore—they were gold. Not just gold… glowing. Like fire caught in glass, like light trapped beneath water, flickering and alive. It wasn’t the reflection from the lights, it couldn’t be. It felt like the world had stopped moving, and all I could do was stare. And then, just as fast, it was gone. He blinked, and everything was back to normal—Adrian smirking like nothing had happened, voice low and too calm. “See you tomorrow, Bookie.”

Chapter One Hundred and Seventy **** The pendant wouldn’t stop glowing. It pulsed softly at first, like a heartbeat under my skin, then it glowed brighter, until the entire room sparked with cold, silver-blue light. Shadows stretched and twisted along the walls,as if the very air had memory. And it came with a voice in my bones. “He’s been waiting to help you fight… and he’s tired of waiting.” I looked around to see if anyone was hidden somewhere but saw nobody.

He only gave a small smile. “Then I will not stop you. Thank you for your time here. The pack has been stronger with you in it.”

Even though he is upset with me, a smile appears on his face, “I love you too, Lilly.” I open the bookcase as quietly as possible. Knowing that I cannot be heard, the consequences could be awful.
