I slid the book over to the left of the table so I could pull out the book that the sprites had bestowed upon me, maybe it had some answers. The heavy grimoire hit the table with a loud ‘thump’. I let my fingers trace the shimmering rhinestones that lined the cover of the elegant literature before finally opening the book to look inside. To my surprise, when I opened the book a bright flash of light came forth, blurring my vision. I yelped aloud from the surprise of the light blinding me all a sudden.
