“I monitored your movements for months. Every day I watched you glide through the water like some kind of water sprite. Like you were born to it, and I couldn’t look away. Were you a siren luring me to my destruction or my lighthouse in the storm?” Abby didn’t like that insinuation. He meant siren in that Sharon Nasari kind of way. “When I saw this statue in your bedroom, I felt uneasy, drawn to its alluring beauty. While Amari was checking around the empty hall to see if it was truly empty, she noticed two shadows coming up and called her friends attention to it. "I can't see." Georgina whispered so Bethany adjusted well for her to see. The shadows came into a view, the female stood in front of her door while the man pinned her to the wall and they shared a kiss, his hand groping her breasts. The female said something that was inaudible before entering her room. "Holy Mary! Isn't that Sister Mercury and the young reverend Joshua." Georgina noted. "They're both young point of correction." Amari said.

I tried not to think too hard on that bit of improvement. “Sadareen, your people might know her as the mother of all sirens. She is one of the few true immortals in this world.” Micah spoke with a detached voice, one that held a deadly edge. “The sirens of this world are not like those of your legends. They live in our oceans, and only emerge to feast. They are scaled, webbed creatures that covet beauty above all. The only way to hold back one of the few immortals is to curse them in some way, bind them to a physical form. Sadareen was once the spirit of the ocean, but make no mistake; she was not kind nor benevolent. The only way to stop the endless death was to bind her into a human form.
