Amari asked scrunching her face and reaching over to check her phone. "It says if any man be in Christ , he's a new creature, old things have passed away behold all things are become new." Aunt Marie said nodding her head and smiling. "You said in your prayer last night when I came back that God should let me find happiness in him and peace." "Yes." "I'm heavy on the word peace." Amari sniffles "and I opened to a page in the Bible, Genesis, God is Almighty and powerful and then I prayed after and I felt that peace."

It hurts me deeply, scaring my ears and senses. He laughs. "At least I kept my little Eve alive," he teases - a reference to an old, dusty-covered brown book of symbols and prophets. "I am the one true GOD," he boasts, bringing us to a landing by what looks to be a decent-sized civilization. "So there are people alive!" I cry with excitement. "Not people," he tuts and ways a finger in my eyes. "Men!" That last word drips with venom. His fangs bear and he looks less human and more wolf, just for a split second.

But even gods are not immune to envy and strife. The war began as a disagreement, a small rift between the brothers that quickly grew into a storm. The heavens trembled as the Fates clashed, their fury shaking the very foundation of the cosmos. In their rage, they ripped open the veil that separated the mortal world from the realm of demons, a dark and twisted place where nightmares took form and ancient evils lay in wait.

“Do you know who he is working for?” “Yes, he works for me. He is one of the library attendants. What is the meaning of this questioning?” ‘Ask the goddess if we can believe him baby.’ ‘Goddess, please we need help.’ ‘Yes, my child. I don’t have very long today.’ ‘That’s okay. I need to know if Alpha Tyler can be trusted against Hades.’ ‘Yes, he has been a great ally to the gods. He will be loyal to the end. He is also goddess gifted child.’

Odell who is one to be easily tempered, which the humans describe to have the quick temper of a human remains the God of war, as when it comes to fighting of demons, Odell is at the front line. Layland on the other hand is the God of illusions and compel, while Barak is the God of the four elements, and Darius, being the God of the underworld. Aside all that, it is known for each of the Gods to be blessed with strength, speed, and hyper senses. "And who says this is a joke, less at all useless?" Alec replies them. "Now if any of you can't answer the question, I will," Alec stares at them all.

I turned around and slide down the length of the door and when I finally felt the floor support me I became sitting with my head against my knees pressed up against my only way out. 'What interest would a god have in me? What interest would Enosos have in me? He was the god of seduction, he could have anyone and yet he has demanded me since I was nothing more then an innocent child. How could I be his? How could he claim that power over me?'

And once you reach for it, you will identified as one of their leader. Every born child of Alpha's will have their own book. And this book will lead them to a quest. A quest will help them to level up. These Alpha's were created by Mother Tree, she was the most powerful of the underworlds. She can give more life to every creature in their land. But creating the Alpha's would be her greatest mistake because instead of protecting their land they were the one destroying it by killing each other just to be a leader. The four Alpha's can be recognized which group of clan they're belong by the color of their eyes.

I have now come to the end of book one of my Cursed by the gods series. It has been a long journey I'm not gonna lie. I lost commitment along the way of writing this book, lost inspiration, even changed the plan I initially had for it. I am really glad that I got to finish it and if you stayed till the end I just want to say thank you for even choosing this book in the first place. I will start with the second book as soon as possible and do my best to make that one better. I hope I have been able to tell you a good story dear readers and once again I thank you for reading Cursed by the gods. Thank you.

’ Gideon asks, his wolf nudges a small shelf lined with books that all look handwritten, the pages are yellowing telling me it's old and when I pick up one of the copies I find the pages greasey like it's been handled too many times. ‘The Holy Bible: How God wants a pure world.’ I read for Gideon; it's hard to keep the disgust out of my voice, of course God has been dragged into this. Look at any point in human history and you will find religion as the reason why men hurt others. I holster my gun; knowing Gideon is standing guard allows me to flick through the Bible without care for my surroundings. I had thought he would turn out to be a man with a scarred face and a height of 6 '9, but I was entirely wrong. Vincenzo is taller than I was and if my calculation wasn’t wrong, he had a height of 6 '4 with a sharp impeccable jawline. He had smooth, black hair combed back, held in place with probably mousse.
