Samantha and Andrew are back at the same beach, they approach a travel agent and book a trip to a new location. They book a trip to, Torres del Paine, in Chile! The park is known for its stunning landscapes, including towering mountains, vast glaciers, and pristine lakes. Samantha and Andrew decides to spend their time hiking, exploring, and enjoying the breathtaking views. One day, they decide to hike to the base of the majestic Torres del Paine - three granite spires that rise over 2,500 meters into the sky. The hike is long and difficult, but the view is worth it!

Teresa's POV Beta Saul followed me out of the pack house, passing through the trees, and into the wastelands. Thank the Moon Goddess for my abilities. Only a select few are blessed with special abilities. However, in our pack, it seemed like everyone had one. We have a woman who grow plants in this desert and a man who could create water. I did not believe my abilities were beneficial to the pack, like theirs, so I kept it my secret. No one knew, not even the Alpha. I mean....my father.

I said, standing, “we find that facility.” “Do we even know where to start?” Celia asked. Kate took a shaky breath. “I saw mountains. Pine trees. High elevation. A red stone ridge line. There were birds I didn’t recognize—black with silver tips. That might narrow it down. There was a smell… iron and sulfur.” “Volcanic soil?” Micah asked. Camerin nodded. “That puts us in the southern ridge regions.” “Then we start there,” I said. “Hana stays here. Under protection. But not confined. Let her speak with whoever she trusts. If she remembers anything else, we need to know.”

But until then she knew they were on their own. She had waited until the sick excuse of patrol warriors were on a different path. Since she wasn't a great fighter she knew to stay in the shadows. It was almost an hour out until she found the rocky terrain. That's when she got to work. Before long she had dug a huge hole of the rock that lead deep into the mountain. She had made sure there was another way out.

Her friends didn’t let her for once realize she didn’t have a father figure in her life. After a relaxed lunch, they headed east on Highway 68, venturing into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It was a great experience indeed, and they left Visalia after a brief tour of the Sequoia National Park. Once out of California, they drove through the Mojave Desert. It was the longest section of the trip and the sun was about to set on the horizon. The desert was lit up in a stunning shade of orange! Danielle had never seen something this beautiful in her life.

Her boyfriend perched on an incredibly small ledge as the other half of Anya’s heart was being whipped into the jagged side of the mountain like a rag toy. “Damon?” She leaned forward, her eyes wide. “What the hell?” It took her a second to mentally digest what she witnessed happening. “Sharp winds cut through the canyon from here,” Desmond pointed to the left side of the screen, “above Benguet’s Point and come down the Death Valley like a bat out to hell this time of year.” He outlined the path that led straight for Daniel.

So, we got dressed and headed out for the day's adventure. It is seventy-three miles on a twisting, turning, elevation changing, mostly two lane road from Cambria to my favorite restaurant on the west coast of the United States, Nepenthe. On a freeway seventy-three miles is just about an hours ride. On the coast highway, on a motorcycle, it takes longer. Add in the time for a couple of scenic overlooks and it was lunch time when we arrived.

The valley of the Steam-Basin was a jagged, iron-rich scar in the earth, located at the precise point where the southern heat-vents met the northern frost. It was a place of permanent fog and churning mud, but to the thousands of weary travelers who had survived the Exodus, it looked like a miracle.

It's now pitch black and I'm frightened because I have no clue what Gabriella will be doing to me. My breathing becomes heavy and I feel some sort of cold object against my skin. My lips are dry and I feel the cloth is soaked because of my tears. "Waterboarding." waterboarding? Gabriella chuckles. "One of my favorite things to do." What is she talking about? What the hell is waterboarding? I hear fidgeting and seconds later my body loosens up, they unchain me? I'm startled a bit when I hear the metal door open and close and heavy footsteps heading towards my direction.
