Writer's POV “Vikram,” Emilio muttered under his breath, his fangs glinting as he clenched his jaw. “You’ll pay for this.” Earlier, Emilio had returned home to find his parents dead. The gruesome scene was seared into his memory—the lifeless bodies, the blood pooled on the floor, and the hollow silence that followed. But now, as a vampire, his senses were sharper. He could smell Vikram’s scent lingering in the air that night. And Donald Dale’s name had surfaced in whispers among those who thrived in the shadows. Together, they had orchestrated the massacre.

The fear won’t let go. Then…Darkness. My eyes snap open for a second. And I fall.

Unease clung to her every step, urging her to stay alert. Suddenly, the ground beneath them trembled, causing Amelia to lose her footing. She stumbled, barely managing to catch herself before falling. The pack members growled in alarm, their instincts sensing danger. A massive creature burst forth from the ground, its body covered in gnarled roots and jagged stone. Its eyes glowed with a malicious light as it let out a bone-chilling roar. It was a creature born of darkness and chaos, corrupted by the very essence of the Ancient One itself.

My heart pounded in my ears as the hair in the back of my neck stood, my body tingled with goosebumps. My breath lodged tightly in my throat as an unseen force lifted the hair from my shoulders and wrapped its hand around my throat. Though the grip wasn't tight or painful, but the sheer shock caused me to let out a loud scream that bounced off the walls of the dark room. I turned around again and this time, the darkness shifted, revealing a man with feral, dark eyes. His eyes were dark and emotionless as he grinned at me without humor, his canines elongated at the motion. With one last stroke to my neck, he growled out;

The Fallens didn’t budge but deeply gaze at her. Their expression was frightening as no one could ever make sure of what emotions are hiding behind the horrifying purple eyes that appeared from the dark glob of darkness. Rose asked for them to talk face to face but she wasn’t sure if the Fallens could speak. However, she was certain that the creature could understand her as the Fallens aren’t essentially a curse but a creature that had been summoned for a curse. The Fallens slowly left Dominic’s side for a while. The dark glob moved across the floor, like a sort of liquid that stick together without touching its surrounding or leaving a dark trace.

*** Dark Castle: Dark could feel that something wasn't right and quickly open his eyes, sitting upright on his bed when he didn't see Raziah, maybe she went to take her bath but when he listened closely, his castle was quite, no movement was heard, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, his eyes immediately flew open. A familiar scent mixed with a new strange one filled the room which he could recognize. He quickly left the bed and went to the dark pool and kicked it repeatedly, ignoring the splash of water pouring out. Gon's head emerged out of the dark pool, glaring at his brother.

Just then, they hear a strange, low growling noise coming from somewhere in the darkness. Giselle and Jason freeze, their hearts pounding in their chests. "What was that?" Giselle whispers, her voice barely audible. Suddenly, a pair of glowing red eyes appear in the darkness. The growling gets louder, and the eyes get closer. "We need to get out of here!" Giselle says, panic in her voice. But before they can move, a large, shadowy figure emerges from the darkness.

I look at it, heart hammering away inside my chest. The mess of ink on the white paper reminds me of the monster that lurks in Nana and Papa’s basement, the one that tried to get Abby and Scott to go downstairs with it.

Wincing at the pain, the girl felt something tightly grab hold of her ankle and looked back to see what had caused her to fall. A chill crawled up the maid's spine as the color drained from her face. Frightened eyes saw a black skeleton hand that came from the puddle, gripping her ankle. Black rain continued to fall and added to the puddle as a second arm soon appeared, followed by a head and a pair of evil crimson eyes. Such a horrible sight overwhelmed the terrified young woman as she tried to escape from the fully emerged black skeleton.
