Goosebumps Scarecrow Episode Novels & Stories

Running as fast as I can I jump over the roots protruding from the ground, and dodge low, hanging tree branches and limbs. The cold air whipping against my exposed skin is causing goosebumps to spread across my entire body. The deeper I breathe to try and catch my breath the more the cold air burns. I feel a limb slapping gently on my face as I push myself faster and faster. I have to get to the cabin, and I have to get there fast. The guys must be close. The howling wind, and sound of crunching branches and leaves make me feel like I’m in a real-life horror movie. As much as I love scary movies, I have never wanted to be the star in one.

“Splendid!” The tall scarecrow walked on toward Town Hall, with his long, awkward stride. It was Mrs. Belfry who had brought the strange creature to Lilith’s Hollow. He was once human but nutty as a loon. It was a curse that transformed him into the scarecrow and, as calculated correctly by the witch, saved his sanity. The citizens of the town took him in with the same kindness and acceptance they showed to all new creatures.

Horror welled up as I knew I had just given away our position behind the rig. The creature crouched down as if he were about to pounce, and I knew we were all about to die. Suddenly I heard a whimpering coming from the far end of the lot and looked up to see an obese, sweat-drenched man huffing and puffing as he dodged around the cars. His face was scarlet red, and I knew if this creature didn't get him a heart attack surely would.

“I don’t think this is a good sign, Jack.” “I agree.” He turned away from the window going to the door. He carefully opened it looking outside. He still no sign of people. Stepping onto the porch with the intent of circling the cabin. He only took two steps before the crows flew in an arrow directly towards him. He immediately stepped back inside shutting the door fast. He quickly went and stood in front on the window. The birds were circling around. “That’s very creepy. Did we step into a kind of horror scene, Jack?”

Suddenly the movie showed the ghost emerging from the cupboard and pouncing on the patient, when he was fast asleep. "Arghhhhhh!!" Appeared the noise from the telivision. "Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!" Appeared a louder scream from Troy's mouth, scaring Eva too. "What happened Troy? Are you alright?" She turned to look at Troy who had now closed his eyes in much fear, and had covered his face with a pillow, shivering a little.

Sylvie was slightly furious. "What, are you belittling me just because I'm a woman?!" Ifor smirked but ignored her as he walked straight toward Frank. In just two steps, they all heard a noisy rustle of bushes and turned to find a dozen glowing eyes glaring at them. "I-Is that a ghost?" Scar asked, afraid. "Ghost, my ass." Ifor snorted in annoyance. "There's no such thing—it must be some animal. The old man was right—there's something strange on this hill!"

chuckled Smith, Cole laughed as well. She looked up at me confused, I smiled weakly and nodded. This is going to be great. Smith started the movie and I lifted Zee in close, resting her between my legs and pulled a blanket up over us. During the movie Nat and Zee both screamed and jumped multiple times, even Cole muffled a quiet scream here and there. I don’t think Zee really watched any of the movie, she had her hands over her face, or she buried herself into my chest for most of it. As the movie ended, we all kind of giggled and grunted at the scariest and most disturbing parts of the film. “Yeh okay I get it now, clowns are definitely scary” Zee admitted.

When the person came in she would feel for the furry gown;if she couldn't feel it,she would lash out with the lamp. The steps came closer. The door creaked open and the person was right next to her. She felt with her hand and found the fur collar. Feeling a little higher, all she felt was a STUMP where her friend's HEAD HAD BEEN!

“Don’t stay up too late. And don’t tell your mother. I think Farm of death was way underrated. Goodnight. Love you squirt.” I giggle at being busted but also Dad keeping my secret. He steals a handful of my popcorn, with Max gobbling up the pieces that fall from his hand. I promise him I won’t stay up all night and I won’t tell Mom. Dad goes to the kitchen and gets himself a bottle of water, before taking Max out to go to the bathroom. Then he makes sure all the windows and doors are locked a final time before turning in for the night. I turn back on Farm Of Death just in time to see a scarecrow come to life and chase a couple through the corn maze with a machete.

Turning, I began to move towards it, unable to quite comprehend what could possibly be making that type of noise this deep in the forest. Moving forward, I came across a field with glowing blue flowers and what looked to be scarecrows. They twisted about lazily in the wind as a few birds began to land on them. Snarling, the scarecrows mouths snapped open as their claw-like hands grabbed the birds eating them in one bite. As they chewed, pieces of the birds could be seen traveling down the scarecrows skeletal throats and past their ribecages before the now-ground-up creatures hit the earth below them.
