Mazelina: The Legend of The White Wolf

Mazelina: The Legend of The White Wolf

I miss my Gran terribly, especially during these dark times. Grandma Juanita used to sit on the edge of the piano bench and tell tales of ‘The Legend of the White Wolf’ when my siblings and I were kids. Gosh, she could tell a great story; she could transport us to worlds we could never have fathomed even as kids. She had a beautiful, imaginative mind. One day, my little brother Blaze and I were walking home from training. The kids had teased me. Asking me why I even bothered showing up for training at all.

My Grandfather And His Pink Car

My Grandfather And His Pink Car

“You claimed you were the chairman’s grandson, and yet you don’t even recognize your own grandfather?” Preston froze, then his eyes flicked between my face and Grandpa’s, picking up the resemblance. Finally, he laughed in mock realization. “I see it now. You’re this woman’s grandfather!” He slapped his thigh dramatically. “You old fool! Your granddaughter is pretending to be the chairman’s granddaughter, and now you’re pretending to be the chairman, aren’t you? Is scamming a family business?” “You!” Grandpa broke into a violent coughing fit. He was shaking in anger.

Pick: Rich Stepdad or Poor Grandpa?

Pick: Rich Stepdad or Poor Grandpa?

I knew Grandpa was all gruffness and soft heart. The next day, when I sneezed from a chill, there was an extra blanket on my bed that night. Grandpa's bookshelf was crammed with books—mostly history—so worn some lacked covers entirely. He insisted I finish them all, stern as a schoolmaster. History was dull and dense, but at night, he would pull me outside to the yard, point to the stars, and tell me those magnificent tales of heroes. Gradually, I grew interested.

The Mafia’s Pregnant Bride

The Mafia’s Pregnant Bride

That he definitely knows something I don’t. “He didn’t tell you, did he?” “Tell me what?” I ask softly, looking up at him with fake cluelessness written in the way my forehead creases. “Well, that is his story to tell.” Damn it! And here I thought I was this close. “But,” Grandpa continues, and I look up, filled with newfound hope. “It was my doing.” “Oh?” I say, encouraging him to go on, because that can’t be all. “What I had with my wife was beautiful, and it is something I hope to see with my grandsons, so I put an offer on the table.”

My Grandpa Healed, My Cousin Knelt

My Grandpa Healed, My Cousin Knelt

"Grandpa, it's not true. Wendy is lying." "Who is your grandpa?" he snapped, stepping back as if she were toxic. "I don't recall having a granddaughter like you." Bianca collapsed, her face white as chalk. Rupert turned to the butler from the Reilly family, his voice ringing with authority. "Tell Mr. Reilly Sr. that his grandson is marrying my true granddaughter, Wendy Pittman, not some impostor playing dress-up." The butler nodded hastily and scurried out. Tessa dropped to her knees, crawling toward Rupert. "Please, Bianca is practically your granddaughter, too. You watched her grow up."

The Day My Family Spoke Over Me

The Day My Family Spoke Over Me

"Faith, don't be rude to your grandmother." I tried to wipe the sauce off my face, but Faith merely laughed louder and repeated in Datrenan, "What an idiot!" I burned with humiliation. "Faith, didn't I tell you to use Cathayan at home? I don't understand other languages." Alas, she just rolled her eyes at me and complained to my son, Noah Chapman, "Dad, Grandma's so dumb. I don't want to sit with her."

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

“Who told you to suspect that I was bad mouthing you? I should reveal your embarrassing stories to make your suspicions of me come true.” Callum replied, “I was wrong, Nana. I won’t do it again. Please spare me and let me maintain my image.” Grandma May chuckled. “That was the only embarrassing story of yours that’s still fresh in my mind. I can’t recall the others, yet. “I have too many grandsons, and all of them had embarrassing moments when they were young. However, if you keep asking, I might be able to remember more of your stories.” “I’ll stop talking. Please recall embarrassing stories of the others instead of mine, Nana.”

This book is very good and the plot keeps you intrigued. The only problem is that the entire book is not out after going in 3 years and only 2 chapter are given per day. I have read 3 other books to completion but can’t seem to get this book done because of the amount of chapters given per day.

One Night Mistake (English)

One Night Mistake (English)

I advised my stubborn grandparents. “I'm sorry, dear. We're just used to being active,” Grandma explained. “By the way, we heard that you've graduated. Congrats, dear. We're very proud of you and your brother, Vince.” "“Thank you, Lo,” my brother and I said simultaneously. Grandma shared many stories about the charcoal-making business, which has grown bigger now. Even the pigpen at the back has expanded. They also reminisced about our childhood with Kuya. It made me feel like it would be nice to live here—a simple life with fresh air.

Fake Vow, True Luna

Fake Vow, True Luna

“Really? Tell me all about it.” He followed me to the kitchen like a lost puppy, his energy practically bouncing off the walls. “Oh man, where do I start? There was so much. He had so many stories about my grandparents, stories that my dad always refused to tell me.” “That’s incredible, Nathan,” I said, touched by his excitement. “I can’t even begin to imagine how much this means to you.”

The Sons Of God And The Daughters Of Humans

The Sons Of God And The Daughters Of Humans

Grandpa held his burning cigar and, a whiskey peg backed himself on the rocking chair. He looked like an old Russian don; about to utter his legends. Grinned, he seems eager to open his old box of stories, which he overheard from his grandparents. "What I am about to say, you might feel it's just a fictional fantasy but, it is not," Grandpa furrowed his eyes on me with a convincing voice. "Do you believe in angels; Ahh..., you told me what you don't see, you will not believe; But let's think if they exist, and mated with humans daughter," he threw, a question on me.
