The Deadly Drop

The Deadly Drop

For a second, panic flickered in Julian's eyes. He took a step forward, mouth opening to say something, but Lily lunged, grabbing my arm. "Elena, let's go!" Because Lily had demanded a tandem jump, we were shackled to the same bungee cord. The moment she leaped, I was yanked off the platform like a dead weight. Gravity vanished. The massive inertia slammed into me, and my stomach lurched violently. Pain exploded in my abdomen. Even though I knew it was coming, I could not stop the scream.

The CEO's Undercover Heiress

The CEO's Undercover Heiress

I kicked the center out, the cold wind and rain howling into the office. "Liam, you're insane!" Halloway screamed. "I'm a Sterling," I said, stepping onto the ledge. "We always did have a problem with heights." I reached for the cable of the maintenance cradle. The metal was slick and freezing. I didn't think about the sixty-four stories. I didn't think about the market. I thought about the girl in the basement who had once told me she wanted to be invisible. I stepped off the ledge. The world became a blur of grey stone and rushing air. I slid down the cable, the friction burning through my leather gloves, my boots kicking against the glass. I was falling, but for the first time in my life,

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

Audrey gave the command: "Ignite the Pillars!" A column of blue-white fire erupted from the Spire, meeting the fragment mid-air. The collision was not a sound, but a "Shattering of the Air." The fragment groaned, its trajectory shifting by a mere two degrees—just enough to send it screaming past the city and into the boiling waters of the Western Trench. The shockwave knocked every citizen to their knees, but the city stood. They had caught the first stone, but thousands more were falling.

Daddy's Little Secret

Daddy's Little Secret

The failsafe spoke again, voice still calm, still measured. “Final request. Voluntary compliance.” Melissa squeezed my hand hard enough to hurt. “I am not leaving them,” she said. The failsafe lowered its hand slowly. “Then consequence path is initiated.” The ground dropped. Not collapsed. Dropped. Like gravity had been reassigned. We fell as the street folded inward, reality peeling apart beneath us like layers of paper tearing free from glue. As we plunged into darkness, the last thing I saw was the failsafe standing perfectly still above the collapsing world.

Where the Pack Ends

Where the Pack Ends

Her balance shatters, her body tilting violently backward over the deadly drop. "Nyra!" I lung forward without a second thought, throwing my weight across the stone ledge. My fingers clamp onto her wrists, my muscles straining as I yank her back onto the safe concrete of the roof. Crack. The ancient, rusted iron railing—weakened by decades of mountain frost—gives way under our combined impact. Before my beast can even register the shift in gravity, my boots lose their grip on the stone. The empty sky rushes up to meet me, and my body slips over the edge, plummeting into the terrifying abyss fifty stories below.

Falling, Fallen.

Falling, Fallen.

Sitting in the front, driving, Bonnie too didn't initiate any conversation and let Roy relax till he reached the Blanche Family Villa. The whole drive, Roy sat comfortably in the backseat, pondering on what awaits him. What message has come? What will his grandparents tell him? "Young Sir, we have entered A city." Bonnie claimed. Roy gazed out of the window to see the tall and endless skyscrapers gradually approaching. Which means Roy will be arriving soon. Bonnie felt the streaks of agitation leaking from his Young Sir and smiled tentatively. As they passed the city square plaza, Roy straightened up in his seat. Bonnie too drove through the narrow Avenue of high class residential area, befo

Life After Prison

Life After Prison

It was noon when they finally reached South Link City. "We're here! This is South Link City!" Gracie stood up and introduced everyone to the sight that lay before them. Shirleen marveled at the city and said, "What a huge and prosperous city!" Gracie explained, "Of course! As the city where South County Mansion is located, it has to be the largest and most prosperous city among the thirty-six cities within the county." Larry and Mick were taking a stroll in the courtyard when they spotted a massive flying sword hovering above them in the sky. The sword soon descended, and the two men exchanged an excited look.

Elena
This storyline has some interesting characters. Jada and Easton are so busy ranting and raving about Severin and Edward is making a complete donkey out of them. This is a good book. I know it’s ongoing but so far I am enjoying it. Do not miss an exciting book if you’re looking for something goo.
Antoine Williams
one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

Falling Just as Hard

Falling Just as Hard

First I wobble on my feet when I try to reach higher and grab the tampon which of course makes me lose balance, I try to keep myself from falling by holding onto the woman’s shoulders but that is an even more terrible idea because she obviously hates me and wants me off her body as soon as possible. I know this because she pushes my hand away which has me reeling back. But I’m not one to give up so easily so I grab her shirt and we both tumble down to the ground. It would have been fine if our encounter ended her but of course not, I don’t have such good luck. The woman had unfortunately tried to grab the shelf to avoid falling down but like me she had failed and only sent all the tampons on
