Looking downwards, he pushed his thoughts to the back of his mind preparing to land, since this wasn't his first time here, he knew how to prevent falling the way Rachel and Alex did, as they were getting closer and closer, he looked at Harry by his side, though the place was dark, he and Harry could see, the two nodded at themselves, immediately they used their hands to pull something by the side of the wall. Suddenly they froze in mid-air, then they continued falling downwards, but this time gently, they continued to fall until they landed on their feet. Harry and Richard's men fell to the floor groaning in pain, they were just Alex and Rachel, since it was their first time here they didn'

First I wobble on my feet when I try to reach higher and grab the tampon which of course makes me lose balance, I try to keep myself from falling by holding onto the woman’s shoulders but that is an even more terrible idea because she obviously hates me and wants me off her body as soon as possible. I know this because she pushes my hand away which has me reeling back. But I’m not one to give up so easily so I grab her shirt and we both tumble down to the ground. It would have been fine if our encounter ended her but of course not, I don’t have such good luck. The woman had unfortunately tried to grab the shelf to avoid falling down but like me she had failed and only sent all the tampons on

She took a moment to realize we arrive and she did not waste time to open the door oblivious to our entwined hands. She stopped abruptly looking at our hands, shock visible on her face and I borrowed the same expression. With a flushed face, Bella pulled out her hand stalking out of the car leaving me to wake up Dylan who dozed off somewhere in the ride. Bella's POV Leo caught up to me easily as I climbed the stairs slowly trying not to trip over myself. Why does this goddamned church have so many stairs. Right now I was on the twentieth stair trying to calm my uneven breathing.

Keeping up with me and actually succeeding, is incredibly attractive. But I won't take it easy on him. The next time, I trip him from the inside, and his body crashes to the ground once more. We grapple on the dirt, entangled in a web of legs and arms, our muscles blazing, and sweat dripping down our faces. We roll over in the mud and moss, our skin and clothes covered in dirt. Each time he attempts a more advanced move, I smile. He even tries a rear-naked chokehold but fails to execute it.

Stepped into the trap. Now I just had to survive it. The elevator descended, carrying me back to ground level. Back to reality. Except reality had just shifted into something I didn’t recognize. And there was no going back.

No way of getting to her. Dirt fell into Glee’s mouth and she gagged, choking for air. In a blink that look changed. Take care of George, it said this time, her silver-streaked brown hair fanned out in the mud, one shoe still on her foot. Richard tasted something biting and terrible fill his throat. He dropped farther back as another steady, slow-rolling grumble echoed. “Granna!” said Katie. Owen leaned over, reaching. The ground heaved and he was thrown sideways. Fissures had begun to open, splitting off from the main collapse. Richard hauled the gaunt man in desperation.

Hartman Tower - Margaret’s Hidden Shaft The floor jerked beneath us the second I pulled the lever. A metal plate split open. Air rushed up in a violent current, pulling at hair, clothes, breath. Luca grabbed my waist. Adrian seized my arm. But the old emergency platform beneath our feet gave way with a grinding snap. “Hold her…!” Grant shouted… But gravity tore us down. The shaft swallowed us in a roar of wind and darkness. Luca’s arm locked around me as we fell, his body twisting to shield mine. Adrian reached for both of us, fingers brushing Luca’s sleeve—missing by inches.

But it was the only way. It took all three of them, Liora, Kael, and a sobbing, furious Elara, pushing with all their might against Ronan's back to overcome the frozen momentum. For a terrifying second, nothing happened. Then, with a grating sound of stone on soil, he began to tilt. He fell slowly, like a great tree, and hit the ground with a deep, sickening crunch that made them all flinch. Now he was a fallen giant, a grey monolith in the field of stumps. The next problem was just as great. How do you drag a stone man?

Georgia was by her side, stroking her hair. The activity seemed to move further back where I couldn’t see as well, but finding strength from somewhere I teleported to the top of the dome, desperate to take in what was happening. I watched as Godfrey shot nearly to me at the top and winked. Then with his crazy speed, he rammed his body into the ground, shaking the earth below. I raised my head to look off into the distance toward the human town, just as the solid base underneath me gave out. Before I knew it I was free falling in thin air, powerless to stop it as my energy was wiped. I hit something with a thud, only … it didn’t hurt.

The fall was more than something he could control. He couldn’t stop the scream that forced itself out of his mouth as he found himself struggling against the force of gravity. His body hit the window guards from the top most floor and his head also hit one of the opened window glasses and continued downward until it got to the middle floor at the fourth second where it hit another opened glass window, all this slowing down his movement and increasing the pains of his fall. He closed his eyes in anticipation of his death as he continued falling.
