Emma's Pov I can’t believe it’s finally here. After a month of trying to get used to this pack, today is the day. The day I’m crowned Luna and officially initiated into the TMN wolf pack. My stomach churns with a mix of excitement and nerves as I stand in front of the mirror, adjusting the dress they’d given me. It’s a deep, regal blue—something I’d never pick out for myself, but it’s beautiful. “You ready?” I hear Gregory’s voice from the doorway, deep and calm like always, though I can feel the tension rolling off him.

The key sat in the lock. I had just been about to turn it. Laughter drifted from inside the house, bright and sharp. Each word they uttered stabbed straight into my ears.
