The green light from the dresser flared, filling the room with a cold, abyssal glow. I looked out the window. The white silence of the Alps was gone. In its place, projected onto the snow by a frequency I didn't recognize, was a single, glowing line of code. "Season 10, Module 2: Cultivation initiated. The Saints are in bloom." I looked at Jinyan, and for the first time, I saw the emerald light reflecting in his pupils. He wasn't looking at the mountains. He was looking at me, and his eyes were no longer whiskey-colored. They were green.

Illuminating the lines and symbols into a neon green color. “The hue of nature and healing. He blinked his eyes, squashing the fire around hi m that imbued him with power. when he unfurled them they were forest green.

The walls were forest green and on his table were various books, a steaming cup of coffee and pens inside a white mug that had been scribbled over by a child with a blue marker. The setting of the room was calm and peaceful although my heart was anything but those things. Green light exploded everywhere. The stairs of light flickered. The green-eyed people gasped, clutching their heads. Their eyes flashed white. “What are you doing?” the not-father yelled. His face glitched, flickering between young and old. “You’re destroying the collection! You’re deleting fifty years of history!” “I’m setting them free!” Maya yelled back. She felt the “Green Frequency” she’d told Julian about, a secret code, a door the Gardeners forgot to lock. She threw everything she had at it—her will, her memories, the smell of rain, Julian’s hand in hers, her messy, beautiful life in Nigeria.

He chattered on restlessly “okay calm down honey, we’ll head to the temple after breakfast, so go take a wash and I’ll be done in a few moments.” Genevieve said as she straightened his hair, she then stared at his eyes, instead of it being green like hers or that of any other Hunter they were blue but the shade was so faint it almost looked like white, it looked extremely beautiful and captivating but it was for this very reason several people wanted him dead, he was different from everyone else and they were scared of it.
