Gregor The Overlander Novels & Stories

He knew… Gregor opened the car door and stepped out calmly. Despite his age, his aura radiated strength and domination. His black suit was immaculate, his strides purposeful, and his gaze sharp enough to cut through me. People around the hospital who caught sight of him immediately lowered their heads or hurried away, as if afraid to stand too close. He approached, stopping just a few steps from me. His smile widened, more like a wolf finding its prey. “So it’s true. That color doesn’t lie. You’re of White Pack blood, aren’t you?”

Gregor said, attempting to mask his irritation with a hint of forced admiration. "He's just a brute with a keen nose," one of Gregor's men grumbled. Gregor shot him a warning look, then turned his attention back to the map on the table. He pondered Karim's words about gathering information and tracking Morpheus' scent. While he detested taking orders from the Lycan Alpha, Gregor had to admit that the plan made sense. If they were to catch Morpheus and rescue Princess Mildred, they needed every advantage they could get.

I asked no one in particular. My chest knotted. I squinted again. They were bones quite alright. Joined together and standing like they lived. Skeletons. They were stretched down the road for as far as my eyes could go. I felt the goosebumps crawl on my skin—this had never happened before. “For how long have they been here?” “I sent him to inform you immediately I saw them,” Gregor replied. This was a huge problem. One that I'd never handled before as an Alpha. I needed to act fast. But even now, I didn't know what to do.

Loki, Caius, and Stryxx were 3 quarters away from the border between the Rogue's territory to the Old Ones. Chad had reminded them that time passes differently in the Old Lands due to a ever potent spell place by those who came before Anatashi and her motley pack of misfits. "Do you believe this mole is as loyal to Chad as he says?" Stryxx, always, the thunder cloud over everyone's heads. "I believe in Dove and his capabilities to sell just about any plan to even the smartest wolves. I guess he's really Chad's,vrother." Loki mentioned.

Tobias said earnestly, placing a hand on Gregory’s shoulder. Gregory met Tobias’s gaze, a rare smile crossing his face. He returned the gesture with a reassuring pat on the back. "I will, Tobias. Keep the pack safe. I’ll deal with this intruder." With a final nod, Gregory dashed out of the gate, shifting seamlessly into a powerful brown wolf. The transformation was swift and smooth, his muscles rippling beneath his fur. As he ran, the night air was filled with the sounds of the pack members hurrying to the pack house. A few tried to halt him, but he ignored their calls, knowing he would make amends once the rogue was dealt with.

Lily ran to where Elias called out, then helped him up. The blood continued to flow like that, and Elias' voice whispered, "I'm fine." “You… are you okay like this?” Lily's tears flowed endlessly, she was afraid that Elias would die from blood loss. The wolf saw the enemy's blood with more and more hatred and the werewolf's blood motivated him to want to kill and eat the opponent. He lunged forward, knocking Lily aside, raising his claws and stabbing Elias in the chest. “Hands off!” The wolf king appeared out of nowhere but turned into a huge wolf, almost twice the size of Douglas. Wolfgang brushed Douglas' long, sharp-clawed arm aside and flung him into the air.

Eva asked him shining her newly colored blue eyes at him. Luca smiled and said "You see, a Wolf will not protect what he has until he's challenged by another Wolf who wants to take it" "Huh?" Eva said and Luca stood up and patted her head and said "Soon you'll understand Eva" ~~~~

“I’m glad you understand this Oliver. His too close presence vanished just as quick as it had become close. He was at a corner now, his jaw hardened and his gaze at a plain wall. “You both will grow into love, just as your mother and I did. Our both packs will merge, strengthening our armies, multiplying our resources, leaving us more than prepared against rogue attacks.” He stopped to take a breath and added, “There has been reports on something strange. Most said it's the rogues growing more powerful and had somehow placed their hands on some…magic.”

"They're not normal wolves." Neah's hand goes to her chest. Right where the second pulse beats. "I feel it too." The sensation is overwhelming. Like standing next to a bonfire. Like the air itself is charged with ancient power. In the distance, a howl splits the night. Not a wolf howl. Deeper. Older. A sound that vibrates in my bones and makes the golden light flare in response. Gregor appears in the doorway. His face is sheet white. "That's impossible," he breathes.

I heard her grunt in pain, watch her struggle to stand, then saw one of them kneel on the back of my friend to hold her down. Gregor went up to Caelum and it was as sweet a walking over as he'd ever taken. He was hobbling slightly, presumably from injuries he’d sustained in the explosion. He drew a knife from a sheath on his belt. It was long and serrated, the type intended to inflict maximum pain rather than quick death. The blade glinted dimly in the filtered light coming through the smashed windows.
