Where Zombies Walk (Book 1 Kendra's Journey)

Where Zombies Walk (Book 1 Kendra's Journey)

When he awoke, he was able to function enough to make use of the clear, running water and work on getting his body fit for the long walk home. The strips of shirt dried quickly in the warm breeze and soon he was bandaged and trying out his leg for mobility. He looked, longingly, at his kill as it lay in the hot sun and sighed. Even if it was still salvageable, there was no way that he’d be able to lug it home with that leg of his being the way that it was. He’d have to leave it for some lucky beast to consume. His eyes combed the ridge as he wondered just what type of animal that might be. The herd looked fairly calm and contented, so he questioned if they encountered a predator very oft

The Forbidden Princess and her Mafia Men

The Forbidden Princess and her Mafia Men

Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be as the screams get louder before another long whistle blows making me think they got hurt, or worse. Just then another horn sounds off. This one lower and almost baritone, like a foghorn. Then the sound of rocks shifting could be heard, like an earthquake as the walls begin to move on their own. Some lifting while others shifting into weird angles. Kinda like the hunger games, and the weird terrane that tries to kill you as I'm forced into a different passage before it could crush me. What in the world? Moving walls? Are we suddenly in Panem? "For crying out loud” I yell more to myself than to anyone else, realizing this game wouldn’t be considered fair. As this

The Reaver Chronicles: Raziel (Book 1)

The Reaver Chronicles: Raziel (Book 1)

Albeit, slowly, it didn’t even make a single sound. My mind instantly trailed back to the book I had previously read in the pack library. ‘There are 4 Reavers that rule the Underworld.’ Raphael was one of the names in the book. I was snapped from my thoughts when I looked up and found myself face to face with an eerily gorgeous man.

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Damn it, this wasn't an action movie. I growled at something very rude, fasted my M19 harder, and sprinted down the sidewalk on this side of the street. I never let our prey out of my sight for a moment. It was almost like a slalom. Again and again I had to avoid people and then I almost ran into a shelter. There was room for a handful of people in these small buildings. If you had to get to safety from a prole, you could run in there, seal the room and call the venators from inside via an emergency column.

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Reese had caught her. "So you really have to work on your mission again," he said, a little mockingly. He shone the beam again into the dark hole and then rose when nothing in it stirred. "Make sure they don't run away." He turned around and left me for a moment to get the backpack. The unknown proles boys growled and scratched the net, trying to escape, getting more and more entangled in the tangle. It wasn't just the smell of the cough syrup that drove them insane, but the fact that they were trapped.

rippling throughout the lair. The torches blew out. The ground cracked beneath my feet. The guards barely had time to react. I didn’t wait either. I ran. There were like hundreds of them behind me. The corridors trailed like a maze, but I didn’t stop to think. I kept going, trusting my instincts, racing faster than the boots thundering after me. A hand nearly grabbed my arm—I twisted, slamming my elbow into a guard’s ribs. He stumbled, and I kept running. Faster. Faster. A gust of wind blew me as I emerged out of the woods through the tunnels—an exit. I pushed forward. My lungs burned, my legs ached, but the flicker of moonlight ahead was all I needed. Then, it got darker as I went deeper i

The Runaway's Replacement

The Runaway's Replacement

As The Head Maid disappeared into the smoke-filled corridor, Lyra's desperate cry echoed: "Please don't turn around. Save my baby!" Kai cries pierced the air as The Head Maid sprinted out of the storage room, Kai clutched tightly in her arms. The baby's wails gradually subsided as they emerged into the deserted corridor. The Head Maid's frantic gaze scanned the empty halls, searching for anyone to aid their escape. But silence greeted her. Just ahead, Oscar and Ethan stood, their faces illuminated by the flickering flames engulfing the storage room. Ethan's eyes sparkled with malice. "They burnt to death?" he asked, his voice dripping with amusement.

Book 1: Luna Returns

Book 1: Luna Returns

He and his friends smelled like they were coming from the sewer. "What is wrong with you four?" Rasmore asked, holding his nose. For the past month, they had been stuck up in the ancient library without food, water, or baths. Only after they gave up were they willing to come out, but with piles of magic books that they had decided to re-read in case they had left some lines behind. "What happened?" Hashmuk asked, walking towards them. He grabbed Kelvin, checking to see if he was okay, but Kelvin just pushed him away.

This "next gen" story in The Guardian series is more in line with the original series but doesn't disappoint. Honestly this series could go on for years and I'll read them all, they're that great. This author updates regularly & always concludes her books. No fear of abandoned books w/ Cooper.

This was such a fantastic book to read!!!! I was sad to see it (like all your others books) end!!!! I really hope the other Guardians & their Alpha brothers get their own books as well. I just can’t get enough of your writing Cooper. Please keep your books coming!!!!

The Binding

The Binding

An ear piercing howl hits the air. Eirik. Raw, furious, alive. It rips through the stairwell, through the forest above, through my bones. Hands seize me—Ingrid, Gran, Elias—yanking me upward as the stone staircase behind us begins to cave in on itself like it’s being erased piece by piece. We run. Not toward answers. Not toward understanding. We run because the world behind us is actively ending. And whatever I just dragged back down into the dark is no longer content to sleep beneath the earth.
