Damon immediately panicked - after all, if he was submerged in these waters, would forget how he loved her and maybe even would be able to complete his mission. - Finally you visited us.- Alistair greeted Damon, came closer and hugged him gently.- Johhan was following you, on Salvadore's orders, and discovered that you fell victim to the charm of the sorceress. Fortunately, he and his brother informed me about it in time. Now, according to our rite, you will be submerged in the black waters of the Lake of Darkness.- he announced, giving a sign to the guards. The two tallest of them grabbed Damon by the arms, took off his jacket, blouse and pants, and then plunged him into the dark abyss. Pen

The Innkeeper, frozen in a silent exclamation, seemed to fade from my vision. It was as if I was no longer in the dusty office, but suspended in a void, surrounded by swirling mists of light and shadow. Then, images began to coalesce within the glow of the parchment. They weren't static pictures, but fleeting, vibrant snippets, like dreams playing out in rapid succession. I saw flashes of familiar faces, though some were older, etched with lines of experience I hadn't seen before. There was Fenrik, his golden eyes blazing with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine, but also a weariness that hadn't been present moments ago.

Why would Maggie’s ancestors want to conjure and evil spirit or raise the dead? Fascinated by the pull of the words on the page, she softly whispered the Bring Forth the Dead Incantation. A cold chill swept over her and her temples throbbed. She carefully placed the ribbon down the interior binding of the pages and closed the book shut. The crystal didn’t look quite so out of place as it lay against the bottom of the pages. In fact, there was so much room between the size of the cover and the size of the pages that crystal tucked right up into the gap when she set the book on end. It was a perfect fit.

And this is how the last story about Light and Darkness that I wanted to present to you ends. It was certainly an extraordinary journey, showing different stories, but at the same time touching the same topic - can two such opposing poles as Light and Darkness connect at some point? I'll leave it to your own choice, but one thing is for sure - as Miyuki said in Book 4, wanting to stop the battle between vampires and wizards - Light and Darkness certainly couldn't exist without each other. If there was only Light but no Darkness, what would be its meaning? Likewise, if there was only Darkness in the world, wouldn't its existence be pointless without trying to "devour" the Light?

"What the hell !!" The man exclaimed, his eyes wide open in fear as he moved back slowly, hot sweat dripping like rain from his cheeks. Distracted Dark Matter left Mike and focused his attention on the now running man. Taking a few steps forward many series of dusks shoot out from the ground with one dusk grabbing hold of the poor man's heart giving him little time to shriek. It pushed his heart out of him before fading it away. The poor man laid there lifeless, with his
