Grim muttered with purplish gue dripping out of his mouth. I pushed up to my feet and stared at the monster in front of me. I clenched my fists together and stared at Grim, his grin had reduced and replaced with a snarl.

Eating raw tomatoes was not Angela’s thing but these tomatoes looked tasty. “Grungy!” Tahoma cried out, walking towards the robust elf named Grungy. Grungy belched loudly, using his hand to hit his stomach. The stomach made a loud noise. That caused him to pass out some gas. “Eww,” they said covering their noses from the awful smell coming out of the elf. “Tahoma is that you? All I can see is red.” “You have been eating too many tomatoes.” “You came back early.” Grungy turned to the unknown people beside him, looking at them carefully. They were taller and bigger than them. They had to be humans. “Who are they?” Grungy said, spitting out some tomato seeds.

My unused voice sounds like someone has taken a rake over my vocal chords. Granger shifts back to his human form and quickly pulls on a pair of pants, forgoing a shirt. He pauses before approaching me and crouching in front of us, laying the back of his head on Ella’s forehead. “She’s burning up, Alpha,” he says with remarkable calm, but his eyes betray his steady tone.
