Mellana stops and turns to us. “You can go in, Dora. She’s already waiting for you. You stay with me.” She says letting my mates know that they can’t follow me any further. They nod their heads. I make my way inside making a quiet prayer to the moon goddess for protection. I knock on the open door. “Come in.” A woman answered.

I remember the words of a chant guiding my fingers as I worked. What was it? I close my eyes and let the whisper enter my flesh and blood, my lips move and I recite ... When dreamers dream They guard within A secret they must cherish, until Mother Moon through watery hue with iron she will not perish. Then with a final cry from Esme of "Go with the Goddess!" we are there. The crackle of pine needles beneath our feet, the scent of pine and something else much, much darker. I am home. And everything is wrong.

A pink bunny stood in front of the elevator doors, holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a large note in the other. What in the actual fuck is this? He hopped towards me, bringing the flowers out to me. Long stemmed deep red roses, a dozen over them, wrapped in white tissue paper and a silver wrapping. “Oh, I don’t think these are for me.” I was utterly confused. He held up the sign, revealing my name in big letters. Raine McClaren. “That definitely is your name,” Shane said from behind me. I looked around, realizing I was drawing a crowd. Oh, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so embarrassed before in my life. And to top it off, I had no idea how to handle this.

“Keep your eyes on me, Emory. Only listen to my voice. You can do it. Slow breaths.” His hands cupped her face and whispered soothingly, “It’s just me and you here. Let everything else fade away.” Only my voice, Emory. As the carriage sped through the streets, the thunderous sound of the storm filled their ears. Emory closed her eyes and focused on Rahl as everything faded away. Reaching deep into her core, she searched for the light that guided her before. Slowly, the voices faded, leaving only Rahl’s touch and voice like a glimmer of hope amidst the tempest.

she walked with him. “Is everything all right?” he quizzed, unable to understand why his wife fainted. A gentle smile played on Maria’s lips. “I think congratulations are in order, Mr. Black. She is pregnant.” Maria’s words did not make sense to Azazel. “What?” he hollered, combing his fingers through his hair. He thought he glimpsed supernatural happiness, peppered by memories and magic. If there is a God, he should thank him for giving this magical potion of love called life.

She couldn't believe herself thinking that maybe he had taken a liking to her as James had warned, but then she remembered the name Fiona Hart and quickly brushed off the thought. Just when the food was about to be served, a charismatic presence greeted them. “Silas Deane! Pal!” James happily entered the scene.

Her voice resonated throughout the building, leaving a trail of exorcised demons in its wake. Asmodeus, frozen in awe, witnessed Maria's transfiguration. Her face glowed with an ethereal light, and the ground beneath her seemed to fade away, as if she were ascending to a higher realm. Sister Cassandra, emerging from the backstage after defeating Deliah, beheld Maria's glorious metamorphosis and fell to her knees, uttering the revered words, "Holy Mary, full of Grace."

Dominic recited the hail Mary and listened as Father Balboni led them through the first mystery, the resurrection of Christ. He closed his eyes as the priest’s voice droned on and he thought of Isadora, alone in his penthouse. “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, a world without end.” Dominic’s mind drifted through the hail Mary’s, the glory be prayers and the next four mysteries, the priest’s voice becoming softer and softer. Mia timidly raised her head, one hand holding the crown. "Who are you? What is this? It's so heavy..." She looked around curiously at everything, and when her eyes met mine on the altar, the coldness in my gaze frightened her into a shiver. Kyle quickly shielded her completely behind him and snapped his head up to look at me, his eyes sharp and full of threat. "She's just a human! Don't scare her!"

Mary was still not there. "Excuse me?" Kara ventured. The young woman and the girl looked at her as if impatiently waiting for her to say something next. "Where--where's Mary? Mary Rafael? Short, round-faced, scrunchie?" The girl pointed up, and Kara followed her gaze. There was nothing above them but the giant moon. "She's back up there, in the other world. Go through the altar," the girl motioned to the altar with the stone angels which Mary had used before to transport her back home.
