The second officer, an older man with gray at his temples, is already suspicious.
"My partner just got a call," he says, reaching for his radio. "She's not responding."
"She collapsed," I move toward him with urgency in my voice. "I think she's having a medical emergency. In the car."
He's immediately distracted, immediately focused on his partner, and that's all the opening I need.
