Because of rules changing it's impossible to find this novella on the GoodNovel app. So I am adding it here for your enjoyment.

When Emmet answered that his favourite colour was now red, Jasper admitted that his own was now blue. When Emmet had given Halloween as his favourite holiday, explaining to Jasper that it was when people placed decorations of pumpkins and bats outside their homes and give costumed children sweets when they approach and that it was a celebration of death and all the spooky things in the shadows, the spirits of people long dead finally returning to their families, and the oncoming harshness of winter.
