The Lycan King's Floor Scrubber
It was a corpse.
The face was a ruined, grotesque mosaic of different Lycans. The jaw belonged to a massive brute, but the upper skull was narrow and shattered. The eyes were missing, the sockets burning with a sickly, swirling, toxic green light that illuminated the tunnel with a horrifying, supernatural glow. Heavy, iron staples held the rotting flesh together, glowing faintly with the residual dark magic of the Warlock who had animated it.
"Goddess preserve us," Silas breathed, the absolute horror of the realization stalling his blade for a fraction of a second. "They aren't a strike team. They are husks. Flesh golems stitched together from the Warlock’s graveyard."
